When we went to San Jose a couple weekends ago the TSA (a woman) was rubbing my hair (which was in a bun), I guess she was looking to see if I had anything hidden in it. It startled me.

No tye dye for me either. I actually tossed my tye dye shirt from the last trip. And I actually like lime green for the first day. It's very DIS and it's easy to spot everyone.

Looks like the tie-dye is getting the old heave ho! It was cute when we did it, and the Pixie Hollow photo came out great with all the vibrant color. But I'm with all the "no" votes so far. Time to let that one fade away.

I like them all, including the crown. I don't care for the pink Mickey (the color not the MIckey) -- at least not with the blue crown.

I'm not in love with tie dye either, but I am more then willing to wear it for one day out of the year.

Evening gals!! I see you have been chatty again LOL.

Gosh I go away for the day and it takes me 30 mins to catch up!! I like it though because it is like it was 2 years ago and I so enjoy that!! Love all the talk about shirts and themes and such. By the way are we going to have an overall theme like with the shirts and such like we did with the Pirate Princess thing or do we just have a theme for the meet and Greet and then a shirt? Can't really remember how that worked. I am just kicking myself that I didn't ask mel for one of her beautiful purple shirts. They turned out so awesome and they are by far my fav shirts yet!! I still have my tink shirt and although I really like it I think these last ones are the best yet and Mel did a fabulous job!! I didn't even MAKE one last year LOL. I don't have a color printer (or at least didn't then I do now) and so mom and I just made jackets with our own pirate "patches" so really the only theme shirts I have is from 09.

As far as the daily shirt colors I am pretty much good with whatever. I can wear any color and I still have my tie dye shirt so I am good with whatever everyone decides. Admittedly there are some colors I don't like that hot in but I think I have at least one shirt in just about every color LOL so it will work whatever the group decides. Mom is def pickier than me but I can make her adapt or she will just wear whatever cuz she is older and set in her ways LOL.

Sherrie that is so awesome about the mini meet and Jill I saw that you are interested in Oct. I hope that we can get several of the local divas to come one of the days that we are there. That would be so fun even if it is just for 1 meal or something and like I said maybe some of the other divas might come too!!

The girls and I had a really fun day. We went to the mall and walked around and did a bunch of window shopping, had some lunch and then decided to forgo the regular movies and just went to the dollar movies and saw the Green Hornet which was cute. Then we just rented a few movies to get caught up since we haven't rented anything in several months. So I am excited to see them and hope they are good!

Anyway just wanted to check in and I guess when I come back tomorrow there will be another 5 or 6 pages LOL. Have fun chatting and have a nice evening everyone!!

I pink!! I personally hope we keep a pink day on the next trip. But that's just me being selfish.

I was like you on my first trip! Right away I saw Trudi and Sarah, and went up to where they were standing and sort of pretended not to know them and commented on their pins. Then I finally told them who I was. Why?? I dunno. Just shy I guess.

I wouldn't mind wearing pink again and a few of us woundered about wearing the castle shirts again. All the complements we kept getting all day was so much fun.

The compliments on the shirt were wonderful, but also a curse in disguise during the scavenger hunt We kept getting stopped by people either asking about the shirts or about what we were doing (moreso about the shirts). It was hilarious. It cost us the win, haha. JK!

My nap didn't work out as well as I would have liked so to go back to a conversation from the other night we're watching American Pickers!

I second having another pink day next year. And I'm not generally a pink fan. My favorite color? Teal! Which shall make an appearance in my hair tomorrow. I am so excited.

Just so you all know I agree with Jess I am not generally a pink fan at least not anymore but the pic of you all with your pink shirts looks great and distinctive and divaish (is that a word) There is a hot pink shirt in my closet and I would happily wear it for you all.

Pink was once my favorite color my first wedding I did a good imitation of Julia Roberts in Steel Magnolias "Pink is my signature color" Looking back now it was really too much pink LOL! Then along came 2 little girls less than a year apart and my entire world was pink and I just straight burnt out on pink really I was at the point where we totally banned it from our lives. 24 years later the trauma still has not completely left though it is no longer totally banned from our lives.

HOWEVER my DD23 did put put the following on her baby shower invitations "Be creative for my little girl...see what you can find that is girly without any pink"
It was her way of making sure she never relived my all pink nightmare.

I too would prefer the tye dye retired but if I get outvoted I will play along.

If it is possible I am even more excited about our trip now! My husband thinks I am funny but when we were discussing whether we were going to drive to AZ or fly he said I should check with the Divas and we could do lunch with Divas the whole way there LOL

I am there from the 11th to the 17th or maybe the 18th as my DD23 is considering leaving the wedding thing behind for a day and just coming to meet us on the 18th to spend her birthday at DL.

I have been trying and trying to get my pictures on Shutterfly but it's just not working. I went through all the steps and all I got was an empty album. I use Shutterfly all the time so I know how to do it but for some reason it doesn't want my trip pictures.

As for getting them on the same line, I think the problem is that your countdown badge is "Centered" and the Stitch name isn't.

Hey everyone! I've been lurking on here everyday, just not really posting. The last day of the Diva trip, I was feeling a tickle in my throat... which turned into a Severe cold Tuesday. I still managed to work 33 hours this week but my house was looking frightful. So, this morning, I cleaned forever, and our kitchen looks amazing - since DH was cooking for me, it was ridiculously messy. And Greg helped me clean our bedroom last night. But I still have a lot of catching up to do... I HATE being sick!

We got a Sleepnumber bed delivered while I was on the trip, and so far I hate it. I can't believe I dropped over a grand on an air mattress . I'm pretty sure we're sending it back....

I love all our new signatures! I can't wait to see Jen's Aurora one

I love the frame I got in the picture frame exchange! They were all very nice. We have some creative ladies!

Sarah, I'm so glad you like the picture frame! I had a lot of fun with that and I really really hope we do that again next year. I'm excited about the frame I got too, and chosing a picture to put in it. (I'll probably put the group photo in there)

Speaking of colors - how did the t-shirt colors work for everyone this year??? I think they are a good mix (especially the pink one ;-)

The pink was the best t-shirt day. Everyone was super easy to spot. The other days, not so much... especially black shirt day. Maybe we could have a yellow shirt day next year? Or something else that would be easy to spot...? Also, I stayed til Monday afternoon and I was the only one left that wore a tie dye shirt not sure why. I was excited it was one of the "colors" chosen (and I even dyed a white Tinkerbell shirt for it).

Another thing I will say about shirts, is it is not hard to get a shirt in whatever the assigned color is... I didn't have a purple one, so I bought a pack of purple dye, and colored a light blue Eeyore shirt I had and it worked out amazing. I was so proud of that shirt.

Next year, I will for sure arrive Thursday morning and may leave Sunday evening and use Monday off to rest before returning to work. Edit: and I will for sure spend the extra money to fly into SNA!

I'm glad you're enjoying them....I tend to take un-posed pics.....I do get some of those as well....but I'd rather capture the moments.

I noticed that! I saw a couple random ones of people eating and such. It cracked me up, but at the same time it made me feel like I was "there" if that makes sense.

Howdy Hi!

I don't have time finish reading but I just need to mention something.

The tee with the crown is totally a quick copy of something I thought would look cool. It's pretty ruff, and I just wanted to give you an idea. I would use that design as a start. It would be cool to have a Mickey shape inter-woven with the crown.

If you picked a crown, and say you chose a pretty pink tee, then I would probably make the whole crown in just one color. Black or white ink on bright pink fabric would be great. Then I would love to bling up the crown. LOL!

But I think we should look into other ideas too. All input is welcome!
