Happy Wednesday Divas.

Wendell, that pic is just HAWT :thumbsup2 Nuff said......

Cheryl, I love the unbirthday theme, sounds like fun times :bday: Does that mean if it's super close to your b-day you get extra pressies????? :rolleyes1

Heather - WOOGIO!!!

Jane, I love your pink and green siggie :upsidedow

EDIT - I saw Cheryl's post below and I think that's a good idea to make it more personalized.

INot everyone truly appreciates a pair of fuzzy handcuffs. :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

I am SHOCKED :scared1: to think that someone couldn't appreciate a pair of fuzzy handcuffs!

As for the present, I know it is vague. Here's an idea --kinda taking off on the exchange idea--what if the ladies who are participating (which I think are most) get their names drawn and each lady knows WHO they are buying for? That way they have a better chance of picking something the recipient might really appreciate rather than a random gift. Of course, we wouldn't have the "joy" of stealing each other's bags but it might be fun to do to change things up for one year.

Oops, must've missed Bridget's post. Thanks for pointing that out.

I was thinking more than 5 would be too much as well. Just seems to get confusing at that point.

Yup.

I know. It's hard to imagine, but there are "those" people out there who just wouldn't enjoy it. :confused3 Sad, really.

I like the idea of knowing names. Then it literally is just like one of the exchanges we do over the holidays. That's easy enough to do, we just need sign ups ahead of time, same as with the mail-out exchanges.
It's really the only way, otherwise to just say go buy a b-day present, it's too random.

LOL--no--but you get a bigger piece of cake!

and like I said before--it was not my idea (although I don't remember who came up with the idea--I think it was at the villa when we watched WoC and I had had a few glasses of wine/drinks/jello shots).

I love the idea too!! I think it's great. And it would be so fun to set up and decorate for. :hyper:

I'm just wondering what the "birthday present" would be though? I mean to just say birthday present is a bit vague, kwim? You never know what you might end up with.........especially coming from me. Not everyone truly appreciates a pair of fuzzy handcuffs. :rolleyes1 :rotfl:
Would we set some sort of theme? Or just have it include anything and everything?

Well, just like any birthday present, you never know what you could get - hahaha. It's a surprise!

We could set parameters though, like it has to be Disney related is some way...or something like that. If the M&G committee decided on a Disney-related birthday present gift exchange, it could be Disney pins, or Disney jewerly, or a Disney gift card, or a Disney coffee cup/mug, or a pair of fuzzy Disney slippers, or who knows..........it would be a Disney surprise of some sort! :thumbsup2

And that way we could have a questionnaire like you do for the exchanges as to likes and dislikes, sizes, colors, fave character, etc.

Oh whoops, you two are having a whole conversation and posting way faster than me, so I end up posting in the middle of it.

Nevermind my previous comment. :rolleyes1

I think all the ideas are great on how it could work so far. But man, can we have a pinata :rotfl: I never got to hit a pinata at a birthday party, haha.

I like the idea of picking names, except then it takes the "game" out of the exchange. There wouldn't be any fun choosing, stealing, and freezing going on.

LOL! You know, that would be fun. I think something could be worked out to make that happen.

You know, I was thinking a pinata would be fun!! But wasn't sure of the room layout and such. But it would be interesting for sure! Especially to watch. lol

That's true.
Either it's going to have to be known ahead of time who you're buying for, or else have some sort of "birthday theme" such as Disney. I feel like otherwise it's just way too random........that's just my opinion.

Hi all!

I'm not really interested in the SH committee at this time. Maybe in some future year. :thumbsup2 I need to sharpen my MA skills first. :) My post was actually directed at Jessica, and just telling her how I thought it could be fun since she seemed on the fence last night. Anyway, my intention was lost and I confused everyone. What else is new!

I do like the idea of the unbirthday party! Honestly though, we could make any theme wonderful! I just like the idea of cake!

I like the double decker bus also. The ideas are really flowing, and I can't wait to see what else you all come up with!

I hope Zoe had a good birthday at the park today. I hope they made her feel like a princess. princess:

Yay! So I'm not the only one it happens to. I'm definitely in for next year if the committee will have me ;)

Nah, that's what I figured, that you were merely commenting and not really interested, but just in case, I mentioned your name. ;)
Good luck with MA!!! That would kick my butt. :scared1:
