We watch Pawn Stars sometimes. We've been down to the shop, and the kids got to say hello to Chumlee. The twins got a kick out of it.

My DH wants to go to Vegas...just to go to the Pawn Stars store. He loves that show!

Yes, we've cruised Disney a couple times before, but it will be Laila's first time. She can't wait to go on the "big boat." We're going to Mexico which isn't my first choice, but I got a great price and no airfare, which is a major bonus .

I'm excited, but I have soooo much crud to do before the trip, it hasn't hit me just yet (give me a few days and then ask the question again LOL).

This was already discussed, but I think the meet & greet committee should be able to pick the party theme and the exchange theme! I think they deserve that honor for being on the committee. Maybe have everybody throw out ideas, and they can pick from all of them. I love the unbirthday idea, as well as many of the others. So many great thoughts & ideas. I have no doubt that whatever themes are picked...it will be awesome and fun!

Well, tell your DH to come on out and bring you with him. He can go to the pawn shop and we can go to lunch and do some shopping.

Thanks Bridget! That would be great. In the past we've needed quite a few ladies to make reservations, especially at places like Carnation Cafe where you have to make multiple small reservations.

Question: What restaurants will vacation planning make reservations for? Just at the hotels? Or will they do park dining as well, such as Cafe Orleans and Carnation Cafe?

Welcome Sherri. It will be fun to meet you in March. I used to own horses, just sold the last one a year or so ago. I actually bred him and was there when he was foaled, so he was a hard one to let go of. He went to a great home that is showing him a lot and he's cleaning up in the ribbons.

I love the idea of a group picture on the double decker bus. Plus, weren't there some picture opps for this trip that we never did? Pirates, or Jungle Cruise or something?

I agree that there are a lot of great ideas for the meet & greet. I think that stellar committee should be able to surprise us a couple of months before the trip. Who knows what they'll come up with between now and then. (although I would never turn down birthday cake! YUM!!)

Hi Chris. The different group photos are one of my favorite parts of the trip. I love our tradition of doing one at Princess Fantasy Faire with our tiaras. And of course the big group photo and the mother/daughter pics too. Ride pics like Small World and last years POTC are perfect as well.

I love the places we've done the big group photo in the past, which is the castle and in front of the floral Mickey just inside the gates, but I would really like to find a new, fun spot to do it for next year. Something different we've never done before.

Not sure just where. I don't go often enough lately to think of a good spot, but maybe over the course of the next 11 months inspiration will strike one of us and we'll come up with something new and clever.

I did! Thankfully this trip finally turned my DH DisneyTragic too so lots more trips planned!

I grew up in Simi Valley mostly then Ventura/Oxnard area as a teen..really if it was still like it was when I was a kid I might still be there. I do still have lots of family there so we visit.

They do them all except ESPN Zone. This time they did Napa Rose for 20, Fantasmic! for 20, Walk in Walt's Footsteps for 4 and Carnation Cafe for 6 - others had already made ressies. I have worked with the same gal for over 4 years and just email all my requests and she does it - they are awesome!!

It's no bother at all. I like making them when PhotoShop wants to work for me. On occasion it wants to be a pain in my rear. And I can definitely help with the walking through of how to get it in your signature without messing anything up.

Yes Quiet Coyotes is one of Capri's teaching tools. I hope it works better on elementary aged kids than it did on Divas (we are quite the chatty bunch if you haven't noticed).
