Distances at Fort and choosing a cabin loop

I am trying to decide what cabin loop to request.

I have read through some of the past threads on the best loop and have seen conflicting things about distances and walkability to the main pool, the main bus stop, etc. We won't be renting a golf cart so I was trying to get a better handle on the distances and how long walks would be.

Anyone have an opinion on the best cabin loop? And walking distances to the ammenities from that loop?

2100 would probably be the quickest loop to get to the pool. You can always hop on an internal bus.

You are only 1/2 a mile from the Meadows and main swimming pool in the 2100 or 2200 loop or if you stay in 2500,2600 or 2400 it is near the quiet pool. The buses run about every 10 minuets so you can get to anywhere at the Fort with no problem. Make sure you take the orange bus if you want to go to the Meadows. Look for a Fort Wilderness map here to get a better idea of where the cabins are,(2100 to 2800). Also request a cabin near transportation.
