Is it far to walk from one part to the other?

No not at all, it takes about 5-10 mins depending on your stride.

There is a shortcut. You can exit/enter universal by hard rock cafe (you actually enter the park my nickelodean). This way you don't have to go all the way around to citywalk. You walk in front of hard rock cafe and the other restaurant with the big basketball player.

Using the shortcut past NBA is less than 5 minutes I would say.

It's a short walk, and a very easy one. We quite enjoy it - it's nice to look ahead to what you're going to be riding in a few minutes
