Hi Disboard People,
This is my first post here. We a family of 3 going to WDW on August 23 - 27 and will be staying at AKL. We've got the dining package and are trying to pre-plan our meals based on where we intend to be on a given day. Main question is: What kind of travel time are we talking about between parks/resorts using the Disney transportation system? Would it be a big hassle to, say, plan dinner at a resort that's not in the park we'll be at that day?
What about transfer time from the airport to AKL? We'd like a character dinner the evening we arrive, but our flight gets to MCO around 5:00 p.m. Should we even bother trying to reserve something or just write off that first day (9 hours flight & layovers) and just get going early the next morning?
We've never been to Florida or WDW and are taking the Mariner of the Seas Western Caribbean after our Disney package
. Really looking forward to any advice. Thanks in advance.
