Distance between BC and Boarwalk.

My family has booked a vacation for this August. My kids (grown w kids) are staying at the Boardwalk and my husband and I are booked at the Beach Club. The Boardwalk just didn't appeal to me. Having been to the Boardwalk many times I know the Beach Club is across the lake but never took notice of how far it really is. How far of a walk would this be from BC to Boarwalk as far as meeting for coffee or breakfast in the morning, and also how far of a walk is it to Epcot and MGM from the Beach Club. Very excited as this is our first stay at a deluxe resort! I would appreciate any information regarding this.

It's less than 10 minutes. We walk it every morning.

Five minutes to BW from BC unless you are on a "slow stroll".

Ten minutes or less to the entrance of Epcot from BC.

Fifteen minutes to HS.

Enjoy! That is our favorite resort area.

Or just catch the Epcot boat because it will stop at BW after the BC/YC. But it is a little bit of a hike to the boat because it's at the YC.

In Aug, it's pretty hot, so you may not want to walk from BD to DHS, it's only a 20 min walk, but hot One Jan, we walked, but when we stayed last Aug we used the boat to DHS.

Walking between BW & BC is very easy, and both BC (Marketplace) and BW (Bakery) have coffee & breakfast items. At BC there are nice seating areas inside the airconditioning in The Solarium.

You are going to looove the BC! It is hard to not stay deluxe after staying there! Have your family meet you or coffee because the close proximity to Epcot is the best. It really is a short walk between the BW and the BC. I love the BW too. You really can't o wrong with either resort.

Short walk when we are at the BC we walk to the boardwalk bakery for breakfast. Nice walk. Although in a couple weeks we are staying at the boardwalk villas for the first time so we will be walking from boardwalk to beaches and cream! Still a short walk!

And from what some of the CM's have told me in the BW area about the quality f the lake you may actually, literally, be able to run across it!
