Dissatisfied with Rival Coffee Maker

We are currently staying in a 1BR Villa at BCV. Our Rival coffee maker is terrible. The coffee is barely hot when brewed and the warmer doesn't keep it hot. We have to microwave the coffee before drinking.

What happened to Mr. Coffee? I hope all the villas aren't going to Rival!

Has anyone else had this problem? Maybe it's just the coffee maker in our villa...

Was at BCV earlier in the month and had the same brand pot. Hated it!!!
We were at Aulani in January and they had Sunbeam pots that were just as bad. The first one we had in the room was broken and coffee spilled all over the counter. They brought us a brand new pot that they took out of the box in our room and it didn't work correctly either. Third time was the charm. I too wish they would go back to Mr Coffee instead of the pots I can buy at Target for $9.99

Call Housekeeping and get another one. Sounds like you have a defective one.

We are currently staying in a 1 BR at BCV. I am so disgusted with the Rival coffee maker. The coffee doesn't come out hot - it's barely warm. We have to heat in the microwave before drinking.

What happened to Mr. Coffee????

Rival has to make the worst coffee maker I've ever used!!!

Good suggestion, unfortunately, we tried getting a new one, but had the same results. Just warm coffee.

try warming up the pot that holds the coffee with very hot water. Won't make the coffee brewing any hotter as the internal temperature of the maker is not high enough but warming up the pot will help with not having the temp drop any more once it hits the cold pot. I think an email to member service with complaints about the coffee pots is in order. If they get enough complaints they may g back to the mr coffee or some other option that is better than the junky coffee pots
