The truth is we are just a number to Disney, not just the DVC. What's important to us, isn't necessarily important to Disney. To us, it's a vacation affecting issue, to Disney it's just another day at work.
Once again I am reminded that as a DVC member the perks are very Quickly dissolving.

We are no longer family we are just numbers to them. Especially when you have a small problem.
GRRRR frustration level at all time high with DVC right now.

Well long story short we had a problem with a room we were given it was not a room problem but where it was located.
It was a room that was located right next to the maids storage room and the room where all deliveries are made every early morning.
About 3 years ago we got the room right next to the deilvery room on the main floor and was woken up at 4 am and the noise from this room was unbearable.
and a few weeks ago we used MANY POINTS and got assigned the same room but 2 floors up and it was next to where all the deliveries are made for that floor and where the maids push their carts into and have conversations .
ALL this very very early EVERY morning. started at 4 am and did not stop till 3 pm.
Was told could not move rooms because resort was full it was marathon weekend. But DVC membership customer service just brushed it off again.
They really dont seem to care if a member has a problem. And we are not ones to complain but being assigned to this room TWICE in 3 years is unexcusable even after I said something the first time it happened.
oh and when i talked to someone at DVC member they said they dont see a problem because the room is a room that can be used. Pretty much saying everything in the room works and is acceptable so DEAL with the noise.
I feel that my points were thrown away that weekend.
thanks for the info.... another few things to add to our purple box- sound machine and ear plugs

This is the mentality of the worst-run companies in the world. It would be very disappointing if this is Disney's position.
I agree with you that if they have a less-desirable room then when the resort is full someone will have it and they can't really do much about it. I guess ideally they would do something about the noise or provide some comp to the inconvenienced guest. At a minimum, it is a shame that any guest is made to feel that they don't matter.
I just wonder what resort the OP is talking about? I've never seen housekeeping staff out and about around the the OKW campus at 4am.

That's my thinking, the info and wording just doesn't make sense. I've always found Disney responsive in such matters though if they didn't have rooms to move them to, that limits immediate options. If it was that bad you'd think we'd have had a lot of complaints over the years about the very issue. Without confirmation from others, it's hard to take the info at face value.![]()
Just sitting here bemused, waiting for someone to call, "Troll alert!"
Since you have stayed in those rooms, what is your opinion on the amount of noise and how early it start? We specifically request those rooms adjacent housekeeping stations when visiting BWV. We love them as we are early risers ourselves and hope to protect neighbors whose headboard would otherwise back directly into ours from our early morning conversations. Those stations create a bit of privacy between guest occupied units.
