But if you lose the pack mentality, you will cross Manchester, then instead of going straight, you will cross Harbor at the light. That puts you on the park-side of Harbor, and it will be nearly empty of people. YOu will be able to walk at YOUR pace, and there are no hotels for delivery trucks to be going to.
Then, instead of going down to the other crosswalk where all the hotel-side Harbor walkers are going to, you will turn right when you see the taxis. You will walk amongst the lined up taxis, and you'll be parallel to the others who walked on the other side of Harbor, but just a little ahead of them, and you won't have to deal with the masses and, again, their quirks. You're walking along one of the shuttle stop "islands" at that point, and you'll get to the exact same bag check as everyone else.
When you leave, it requires even more bravery b/c breaking free of the pack is even scarier when you've been with the masses all day, but we want to skip when we turn to the left, walk down that same far island, cross between the taxis, and are well down Harbor (on the park side) before those we left the park with have even crossed Harbor to get to Captain Kidd's restaurant yet.
However, if you're wanting to stop at a restaurant on your way to HoJo, you won't want to do that...that will require you cross Harbor with the hordes.
