Disposable razor life

I use my razors 'til dull. It takes awhile because I don't need to shave that often; 2 reasons: I'm old and it's winter. NO one is going to see my legs until I put shorts on.

I have disposable razor heads and a subscription from Harry's to get 8 new heads every 2 months. I toss mine after a week. Then again I'm a dude and shave every day.

I use the old school razor with feather razors. They last a week or two.

DH and I share an 5 blade Dollar-Shave-Club subscription, 4 new razor heads per month. I get a new one when it starts gettting dull, typically every couple of months. He uses the rest of them, so about 1 every week to 10 days. So much cheaper than store bought razors, and the quality is just as good!

I just Schick Hydro

My skin is extrememly sensitive. Always is itchy and red no matter what I do - using a razor for weeks is not possible.

I prefer the Venus ones. The life of the razor kind of depends on how much I use it and how lazy I got between using it. If I let stuff go too long, it tends to destroy the razor more quickly.

My husband has extremely coarse hair and shaves daily and shaves his head every other day. He goes through a blade every 2 weeks. He buys expensive Gilette 5 blade razors that last a long time. He'd need a new double blade razor every day otherwise.

This totally reminded me of that one razor commercial, "Your Grampy did it with one blade...and Polio." LOL

I truly admire you women that can go days without shaving your legs. I feel like I'm levitating off my sheets if I don't shave every day! I am quite the connoisseur when it comes to razors. I usually have 3 to choose from at all times. I'm the same with shampoos and body washes. I change with my mood. I've been favoring the Joy from Walmart, and when I'm lazy I like the Venus with the built in shave cream stuff (perfect for travel) but honestly the men's Bic Flex 5 is the best of the razors I've ever used.
