Disneyworld media to disneyland paris media

I have some old Disneyworld passes...can I exchange them for entrance at Disneyland Paris? Is it worth it?
I know that Disneyland (Anaheim), you just line up at the entrance booth and they check the validity of the passes...is it the same at Disneyland Paris.
Also, I will be staying in Paris (not sure where), how does one find out how to take the subway to disney paris..would it be worth it to stay overnight at one of the hotels?
Any tips, suggestions, and advise for this first time Disney Paris newbie would be great...

I think it can vary - roughly how far will you be travelling - and from where to where - there may be a better alternative?

And the answer to the question about the passes, as the others have said, is unfortunately you cannot use WDW or DL passes at DLP I'm afraid.
