We are going to be at Disneyworld Halloween week. Does anyone know what special events are planned during this time? We will be traveling with a 3 year old Princess.... Any information will be appreciated!
princess: Thanks! The Hogans

But the MNSSHP (Mickey's not so scary holloween party) is supposed to be special. DD did this and thought highly of it!!:thumbsup2

We have been during this week and aside from the MNSSHP, I didn't notice anything else. We took our kids on Halloween night...I would suggest not doing that...go the night before or after. The CM told us it was the busiest night of the season and they had sold out months in advance. But the other nights were no nearing as bad. Just know that this is a hard ticket event and I think we paid nearly $50 each on top of what we had already paid for our package.
For the party the entire MK is "tricked" out and has a special fireworks show and parade. Also the kids can trick or treat in the park.
But FYI, the weather was great that week and the crowds were low and we had the best time!

I highly recommend theh MNSSHP!! I had fun this past year (as an adult with no kids) and plan on doing it this year as well. Im going to try to overlap my trip so that I can also do Food & Wine at Epcot!!

We did the MNSSHP this past Sept, the end of Sept, and nothing going on that I remember, but we sure did enjoy it. I would recommend that you take the day you are going and use that as a relaxe by the pool and take a nap with a 3 yr old since they will start allowing you to enter the park around 4pm and get your special bracelet or just wait and go a 7pm . The fireworks and the parade are awesome.

.....is wonderful. My 80 year old father was trading candy at the resort
afterward like a kid. We all dressed like a deck of cards(Hearts of course!).
When the Queen of Hearts saw us, she made us bow to her and then drew
her finger across her neck. You know what THAT means! YIKES!:scared1:
