Their website is ridiculously unreliable for a brand so popular, and with so much money being transacted through it. It's been trying to load a page for about 5 minutes on me now, and I have a bonded T1 here at work.
I tried to make my final payment two weeks ago on the website. I tried twice, but the website kept giving me an error saying the transaction was unsuccessful. I gave up for a while. I came back to the site later in the day when it seemed to be working better. I got to my reservation and noticed that BOTH the supposedly "unsuccessful" transactions had gone through, leaving me a negative balance of several hundred dollars, meaning they owed ME that amount. Needless to say, I got on the phone and made them issue me a credit for that amount ASAP.
I love the information on the site, but it could be much, much better in the execution.
First, they need to at least triple the amount of servers handling processes.
Second, they need to at least double the bandwidth available for the traffic.
Third, they need to use less Flash, Shockwave, etc. on the main pages and in any sections where personal data is displayed. It's not necessary, is a security hole, and often doesn't work well. Save the Flash, Shockwave, etc. for attraction pages.
By the way, in the time it took me to type all this, the stupid Disney page is STILL loading. GRRRRR.
