I think the 1st week you are going is pretty slow so you should be able to do what you want for the 1st week. However, the 2nd week will be packed.

We went Presidents week and we went to the MK on Wednesday of that week and this is what we did (Presidents week is very crowded)
Spl Mt -twice
BTMRR -twice
POTC
JC
Magic Carpets
HM
IASW
Peter Pan
Philharmagic and train ride
and had lunch all by 1:00 -- then we went back to the BWV and then had dinner at the CP at 6:30- finished about 7:45- went on Buzz, Space Mt, saw Spectro Magic & Wishes, then went on Winnie the Pooh, Snow White, TTA and then left by 11:00

The next day we went to Epcot and rode TT -twice, went on soarin- got fast passes to ride again, went on space ship earth, innovations for about 1/2 hour and then to the American Adventure & ate at Morrocco for 1:00.

Just get there early and avoid EMH and you should get to ride everything you want.

Have a great trip!!

I totally agree......avoid EMH and get to the parks early! It's a good idea to check the calendar on disneyworld.com. From what I have written down for our trip (and this could have changed) MK closes at 7:00p on the 15th for MVMCP, and there is no Spectromagic that night. Spectromagic will be on the 16th and 17th only between the 15th and 21st. (again I haven't checked official times in awhile so you'll have to confirm with the website)

Also, you've written down Spectromagic/Osbourne lights...just want to make sure you know Osbourne lights is at MGM.

I would say the biggest timesaver for us is the use of the fastpasses!

I'm hoping there'll be no crowds for your holiday...we'll be there at the same time! :goodvibes

Please don't ever feel like a question is dumb.....we're all on a learning curve and I still have so much to learn myself. I still read posts with abbreviations and can't figure out what it means. EMH is early morning hour. Certain mornings a park opens an hour earlier for resort guests......other days they stay open for, I believe, three hours after the park closes. I find the park with EMH is usually the busiest that day.

Enjoy planning and feel free to PM - private message :) me with anything else you may have questions about.

EMH= EXTRA MAGIC HOURS
On designated days, a Walt Disney World theme park will be open an hour early and three hours later for Disney Resort guests only and includes guests staying at the Walt Disney World Swan/Dolphin Hotels and the Hilton in the Walt Disney World Resor

It'd probably be a good idea to check the disneyworld.com site to confirm because I haven't done this in awhile. But from my notes I have EP evening hours on Dec 15th, MGM early hours on 16th, MK evening hours on the 17th, and on the 21st MK early hours. Check under calendar on the disneyworld site and it gives all the hours/parades/ etc. I'm going to check my info a week or so before we leave to see if there's been any changes.

I would suggest a subscription to tour guide mike - his plans are great...we live by them...makes toruing the park so much easier...it is well worth the money!!!

thanks for the tour guide mike suggestion.

Had a look at the site and it does look great.

the thing is I know what days and on what rides I want to visit so will it make a schedule out of the info I enter or give me another itinery?

Thanks
