Day 2 - Nassau Day

We got up around 7:30 a.m. Had Mickey Mouse deliver a wake up call to my DS. That sure started his day GREAT! Went to the Beach Blanket for breakfast, sat out on the Deck and had breakfast while watching the boat dock in Nassau. The Atlantis looked beautiful. We were able to leave the boat around 9:45 a.m. Took a cab (along with about 10 other people) to the Atlantis. Well actually the cab dropped us off at the Comfort Inn across from the Atlantis as we booked a Day Room at the Comfort Inn so that we were able to have full acess to the Atlantis. (Day Room was $175.00). Check in at the Comfort Inn took about 45 minutes. Immediately after checking in at the Comfort Inn we headed to the Atlantis (only a short walk across the street). Showed our Comfort Inn Key and received our bracelets to access the Atlanits. NOTE: NEVER EVEN WENT TO THE ROOM AT THE COMFORT INN.

The Atlantis was absolutely wonderful. So very big. It was croweded but I expected that since it was the middle of July. Grabbed some chairs at the Royal Pool. My husband went on all the slides, as soon as he saw those slides his whole face lit up. I decided not to do the slides as the lines were alittle long. I stayed with my son and watched as he did the little kid's slides and played with him in the water. The pools are huge. Went to explore The Dig, which is a huge aquarium (sharks, sea turtles, etc.) We all loved the aquarium. After touring The Dig, we had a buffet lunch in the hotel at The Marketplace. The buffet was great. They had everything you could think of eating. NOTE: EVERYTHING AT THE ATLANTIS IS EXPENSIVE! After lunch, we packed our stuff up from the pool and moved to the beach. OH MY GOD, HOW BEAUTIFUL! My son couldn't belive how clear and blue the water was at the beach. We live in New Jersey, so our water at the Shore, is not clear at all. Stayed at the beach for at least an hour and a half just playing in the water. Headed back to the boat around 4:00 p.m. We went to the front of the hotel to get a cab but actually was given a limo. We were all very happy about the limo.

Once we got back on the boat I went to play bingo (a great time) and my husband and son headed to the pool. Met them back at the room after bingo. Decided to skip the 6:30 p.m. show because it was an illusionist and I didn't know if my son would actually enjoy this show. We took our time getting showers and dressed and decided to go to Studio Sea for Family Karoake. To my surprise my son and my husband decided to get up and sing "Summer Lovin" from the movie Grease. They looked so cute. Everyone in the crowd was clapping for them. My son had a smile on his face for the rest of the night. After Studio Sea we sat out on the deck and relaxed until dinner.

Dinner tonight was at Animator's Palate. It was our favorite restaturant. Loved the atmosphere, the show, the food, etc. My son actually fell asleep in the middle of everything so I went to Guest Services and rented him a stroller so that we were able to go to the Tropical Party. Didn't want to miss the Party.

Went to the Tropical Party and had a blast. DS stayed sleeping the whole time. We loved the music, the characters and of course, the tropical buffet. The dessert buffet was so nice. There went my diet. I thought the little carts that they pushed around with all the glow toys, etc. at the party were cute. Even though my son was sleeping, I felt bad because he would of loved the party and the glow toys, so I decided to buy him a few things off the cart. He was very happy the next morning when I gave everything to him. Called it a night around 11:45 p.m. We returned the stroller to Guest Services and to bed we went!

Had an Awesome Day 2. Stay tune.... Day 3 to follow
