DisneyStore online $25 gift card

I have an online DIsneystore gift card that has been burning a hole in my pocket for awhile. I know it's not a lot of money, but I can't decide what to get on the website that would be useful for our trip next April. I know it's over a year away but I've had the "giftcard" for awhile and just want to use it before I forget about it. I tried buying an actual gift card but they don't allow it...any other ideas for useful things that are budget friendly? Of course I want the most for my money!

Go into the Disney Parks section and shop early for some things that you would want while you are there. I would not have a problem at all spending money on that site!

I hate shopping on disneystore.com, you have to pay shipping, that alone already cost you $6 at least. Don't you have any Disney Store around where you live?

What about a scrapbook? You can buy it now and start working on setting it up so that by the time your trip comes, it will be ready for pictures!

I agree- stock up on autograph books or photo albums. Something you would buy when you're there anyway. Don't buy right away though. If you wait there is almost always a promotion going on online. Sign up for their e-mails or google for a code. There is frequently a discount for park related items. Get more bang for you buck!

I just got 3 Duffy Bear light chasers for my kids. They were $6 each. I got them for Disney On Ice, but I plan to save them for our trip after that. It was under $25 with shipping and tax.I think it will save me a lot of money at Disney on Ice and WDW because I know they'll want light-up things.

LOL! I hate shipping costs too and I do have a Disney store about 45 mins. from me but the online gift card was something I won on an online site. I wish I could just get an actual gift card with it. Bummer. Scrapbook is an AWESOME idea!! I don't know why I didn't think of that!

Do you trade pins or vinylmations in the parks? Stock up on them. If you're not in a hurry to spend it, wait for a free shipping code, which pop up from time to time.

I have had success using online gift cards at the store. Print out the numbers and they can manually enter the gift card. It worked for me.

When you look at the code details after adding items to your cart it says it expires 1/31/12 but so far it's still working - so until Disney realizes the error who knows how long it will be valid for
