Disney hasn’t really ‘announced’ much regarding things that have reopened along the way... generally a couple of weeks pre-opening somebody will notice operating hours posted on Disney’s website or a website/menu change.

So, we need some eagle eye DISers to start watching the website.

I set up touring plan reservation finders for Yachtsman and Cape May. It won't start searching until March 30 which is the 60 day window. If I get an alert before anyone notices I'll post an update.

The morning park buses do not share between the resorts, except when they send an extra "pickup bus" to get people who didn't make it on the first bus. Every morning bus that we took to MK or AK in the morning only went to one resort, except for the one time we were on the pickup bus, which had gone to BC first, then to YC. We took buses from both YC and BC because we often went to BC for breakfast at the marketplace. The afternoon buses went to both resorts.

The return buses, from park to resort, went to both YC and BC.

We were there in October, January and March and the bus situation stayed the same for us for all three trips.

Thanks for the info! I will have to stay tuned. We will be at BCV from 4/26 to 5/1, and had planned to use the bus to get to MK (and maybe AK). We'll have a car, which my DH would definitely prefer to use, but I was hoping to get a jump on rope drop.

We are going to be at Yacht club on Sunday - the day the time springs forward and MK opens at 8 AM. We want to be there at opening. We could drive or bus it. Which is better from the Yacht Club? and if we take the bus, what time should we be at the bus stop?

Heading to BCV next week (woohoo) for our first WDW visit ever. As a coffee lover, I am making my caffiene plans. Do the in room coffee makers take pods or can you use your own ground coffee?

I can't say what's better since we take the bus 99% of the time. If taking the bus I would suggest being at the bus stop by 7:00 AM. You should be okay with crowds since guests are losing an hour of sleep and adjusting is always tough the first few days!

Yes, you can bring your own coffee and filters. We do it all of the time. Room comes supplied with Joffries filter packs but I find regular ground coffee being better. I would also suggest bottled water since the room tap water is not the best. Most rooms have the 12 cup makers, but studios sometimes have the smaller 4 cup makers. A quick call to housekeeping will get you upgraded to a 12 cup maker if you do indeed get the 4 cup maker in the studio.

To add some detail to the great information from @PCFriar80 above. Sine the MK scheduled opening time is set for 8 AM, guests will actually be allowed in between 7:10-7:20 AM. So to be honest you might want to be at the bus stop before 6:50 AM if you want to really be some of the first guests in the MK.

It really depends on what you mean by being there at "opening".

Not all attractions will be open by 7:20 since each attraction opens when they are "ready" but all the attractions will be open by 8 AM.

I don’t like to be the source of DIS hyperbole or overreaction, but I just wanted to note that it seems next week could be among the longest period of sold out conditions we’ve seen at YC to date. There is no YC room or BCV cash availability for Sat-Sat, Sun-Sun, and a few other combos I searched.

In my opinion, that is likely to stretch things around the resort to some extent. Rope drop buses, Stormalang Bay capacity, dining, etc.

You may want to stay flexible and err on allowing more time than less. Eg, maybe consider 6:30 for leaving the room.

Thanks! We arrive tomorrow and leave Monday. So we will do parks Friday, Saturday, Sunday. I agree it will be busy but we come down pretty often so I think we have realistic expectations. Just going to do a couple must do rides in the morning then enjoy the resort in the afternoons.

Yes 1000% it has be publicly posted that WDW is sold out next week and all Park Passes are booked for all 4 parks for the week.

This is the official Spring Break start week and that's why Disney opened Blizzard Beach Water Park last Sunday to ramp up.

IMO no matter the time of year or crowd conditions, bus is the way to go for MK. I’ll trade bus waits for parking/TTC walking/monorail/Ferry waits 99% of the time. That way I’m just competing with my fellow YC/BC guests vs the masses driving!

Reminder that if you drive to Magic Kingdom, you have to park at the Transportation & Ticket Center. You take monorail or ferryboat from Transportation & Ticket Center to MK. A few days ago I posted in another thread - I saw a photo on Twitter and it looked like wall to wall people on the ferryboat and walking after they exited the ferryboat. If you take the bus from YC/BC/BCV, you are let off at the MK; no ferryboat or monorail required.

I miss the Minnie Vans, for us it was a no brainer to use the Minnie Vans to MK to avoid all that nonsense.
