Resort Thread Disney's ALL-STAR SPORTS Resort

1 week out for me. App still showing Sports. I would not complain about an upgrade when I get there, but not counting on it.
On site upgrades are usually just within the same resort. It looks like they have some all stars rooms back in inventory for this week, so I would be surprised if there are more upgrades. They seem to do it when there are no all stars rooms to sell.

Like I said, I'm not counting on it. If I wasn't ok with All Stars, I wouldn't have booked All Stars.

Well I must have started something 😂
because I've seen several people report they were upgraded today for arrivals of next week.

Fingers crossed for you!

Just got back from 11 nights at 2 adjoining rooms for 5 people. It worked out well for us, with the older 2 ones getting their own room. It was cheaper than any other onsite option for 5. It did take a couple calls to get the reservations and room requests correct. And only 1 room allowed us to skip checkin and go right to the room. We had to go to the lobby to checkin at the other room. We only used buses to MK, we drove everywhere else. Overall, a pretty nice stay, except for the horrible Endzone Food Court.

We have a trip planned for the end of October for 4 of us, have requested adjoining rooms and wanted to ask (if you don't mind) what the process was or what you did to up the odds of you getting them. It's DD18's graduation trip and she'll be upset if we don't get adjoining rooms. Even though I made and paid for both reservations, one is in my name the other is in her's, the CM that made the reservations marked them with traveling with and requested adjoining rooms. I realize it's not a guarantee but definitely want to do everything I can to make it happen. I did online check-in, but didn't add any requests. Thanks!

That's exactly what we did. 2 room reservations, one in my name, one in DS21's name. Then I called to make the room request. We only requested rooms close together, but they gave us adjoining rooms. We didn't know they were adjoining until we checked in.

Great, thanks! Fingers crossed it goes the same way for us :)
