Woah. I ventured onto the community boards tonight. It's scarey people, scarey. I'm thinking happy Yacht and Beach thoughts now whilst hiding in a corner with chocolate.

Checked into BC today...room wasn't ready so we headed over to Epcot to eat our way around the world for lunch . Have to say that I was a little nervous about crowds after reading some recent reviews but I'm pleased to say that we didn't find it to be bad at all. Managed to hit about 7 different countries today and came out of there STUFFED...of course the drinks were all VERY good too !

We were able to get into our room right around 3:30p and while it is a garden view room, I do believe we may have received some pixie dust as this room is HUGE...looks more like a deluxe room (3 massive windows/no balcony)but definitely larger than a regular room!! Loving the extra space and loving the new decor...much prettier in person.

I'm a very happy girl right now .

Has anyone been able to take buses to and from Epcot and DHS? We got the same email two days ago and are curious about using a bus to and from DHS. We always walk to Epcot but usually get stuck waiting for a boat to come back to the resort from DHS and a bus would be very welcome.

I was surprised when I saw buses running to the YC/BC from the main bus station at Epcot today.

Made it through work today with this dumb sinus infection but I'm going to the doctor's tomorrow instead of work. I have to be careful with the COPD so off to get some meds ... afraid to wait until Tuesday. Had some great visits with Disers today!!!!

Thanks for sharing your review. I think it's important to emphasize that all reviews are welcome on this thread whether they be positive or they expose the shortcomings that a vacationer experienced during their stay.

I would urge you to contact guest services with your concerns. You did an excellent job describing what you experienced in your post so it may be as simple as just copy/pasting that info in an email. Your communication with guest services will be shared with the resort manager. Hopefully good things will come from your report.

I would also urge people coming back from a stay to share their thoughts, either positive or negative, with the management. All that feedback is the only way we have to positively impact the changes that need to be made or to reinforce what is being done right!

Thank you for your suggestion. I copied most of my review to an email and got a follow up call today. Had a great conversations with guest relations and the situation was resolved wonderfully. Always make your experiences known. Disney wants to improve!

We once had a corner room at the YC (not in CL) and it was definitely larger and brighter than any other room we have had there. I didn't know they existed up on the BC CL floor -- do you know what category it is? I have a GV CL room booked at the BC at the moment. (Our larger corner was a standard at the YC).

BTW: I used the Touring Plan room request fax service over at Coronado last Friday and we got the exact room number they requested for us. It was my first time using it and I couldn't believe it was spot on!!

It is not all rainbows and unicorns on some of the other threads/boards on the DIS. People can get really mean and self-righteous over some pretty petty issues.

I am extremely proud that for the most part everyone here is polite, respectful, friendly and helpful.

Hoping you folks can help me with some info. I'm looking at a "magical deal" for August 2016. The room offered is "standard". We are trying to decide if we should book BC or YC. I'm aware of the renovations going on at YC over the next year and I'm not too concerned. We are booking 2 rooms and would like them connecting with a full balconey.

I checked the touring plans room database and I'm not sure that the connecting room information is correct. I found one room that was supposed to be "connected" to a room 2 doors down.

Does anyone know if the BC/YC standard rooms have a connecting option?
Any other suggestions to help us decide which resort to pick would be greatly appreciated!

We stayed at the YC on that deal in 2014. We were told we were booking standard, 2 rooms also requested connecting (we were 2 adults 6 children for DD's 16th b-day) When we looked at Disney's bill it listed garden view, and what we had was connecting rooms with a view of the quiet pool on the 2nd floor. Not sure what all that really means, but that was our experience.

Yep, snow it is!

First trip at bwi and bc. Lots of gf fans also love bwi so can't wait to finally stay there. Lys and I have a Disney institute class on the 12th. After she goes back to college dh coming down and the ONLY room I could find was a bc cl room so I have to move.

So excited to stay cl at bc! The new rooms look so nice too

Love BC CL. Haven't stayed in new rooms. And SAB is wonderful. Not sold on BWI, scary clown pool! Yes, I'm one of those people who hates clowns, lol. Guess in winter it wouldn't be bad, cause don't spent much time at pool, like summer. I could just go to quiet pool hot tub!
