Good morning WL fans!

FYI, probably something I should have done months ago, but we have a new sticky here on the Resorts Boars that is sort of a 'master list' of what is open (and perhaps more importantly, what is closed) at each of the WDW resorts so we can capture that info all in one place. Here now/just back reports are always helpful to ensure we have the latest info and can identify areas where Disney's website is either wrong or has incomplete info.

I just got here; yay! I just wanted to confirm with anyone who’s visited recently. Is the best way to ensure the earliest possible MK arrival probably to be at the bus stop 90 minutes before park opening?

I can’t vouch for conditions on any given day, but when we were there over Thanksgiving I never really saw long lines (or any lines for that matter) at the buses that early - and I was often around them during that time either out running or using them myself. Between the boat and bus I think it spreads the crowds out reasonably well. 90 feels safe but overkill, 60 -70 is probably OK.

But don’t come back and yell at me if you encounter horrific lines if you get there 60 mins early and it turns out I have given you terrible advice with how things are at the moment!

Let us know how it goes - we can never hear too many first bus of the day reports.

Thanks! Don’t be surprised if that first bus doesn’t arrive until 60’ish minutes, but as with most things Disney, it is often best to be way too early than right on time.

Check the MDE app to see if the bus times are showing up. Then you will get an idea of when the bus will arrive or if you just missed it.

Well, it’s 8:25 and no bus yet. We were here at 7:30. Four buses have come for the Wilderness Lodge/Fort Wilderness loop and I’ve gotten a different response from all the bus drivers regarding when to expect the MK bus.

The guys at bell service yesterday said 7:39.

It still isn’t listed on the WL “know before you go” update page, but it has daily hours listed on the TL page and I am under the impression that it is in fact open daily. I think!

Didn't have them when I stayed there this past December.

I had read that they were maybe phasing out the bunk bed rooms so I called today to see if we can request one and the CM said they were no longer an option. Although she didn’t seem to know for sure or hasn’t been told they were gone, just that they weren’t showing up anymore as a room choice.

That is correct - the bunk beds have all been removed with the current room renovations. It is no longer a bookable room category or a request. Same thing at AKL, which also had bunk bed rooms but were removed in its latest renovation.
