After trying my luck at the online contest (I hate getting two hats all the time!), I looked around the website and found that they have a tour for the What Will You Celebrate? promotion.
When I looked into the schedule (http://www.disneyparkscelebrations.com/tour-schedule.aspx) I saw that the tour is coming to a few stops near me in Northern California.
Before I load up the kids and drive an hour or so to get to the tour locations, I wanted to ask if anyone has attended one of these stops before. So, if you don't mind I have a few questions for those of you who have been to a tour stop...
Did you have to drive out of your way to attend, and if so, is it worth the effort? What type of events are at the tour stops? Are there any characters there? Is there any information on exact locations and times for these events (the site only gives day and a general location)?
Any help you can give in answering these questions is appreciated, as I am trying to decide whether to fit this into my schedule this week (1/29 @ Pier 39 in San Francisco). I am assuming that my kids will want to go no matter what, but I just have a hard time driving an hour to end up only going there to get the kids a balloon!
