Does Disney still give brides/grooms the matching DFTW Watch set for both Escape and Wishes Weddings? Just Wondering.

Don't want anyone to get their hopes up, as far as I know the gift is not a guarantee, at least it wasn't back in '07, as we did not receive the watches.

They do it now as of 08 no matter if you are an escape bride or custom you will get them.

Yes, I know people were receiving them back then. I just said not everyone. It's possible it was an oversight - I've even heard of people receiving them on their first anniversary - but no dice on that one.

If they are officially giving them to everyone now, then that's great news! The AP's also were not an official gift in the past, although to my knowledge everyone received them. I guess I should just be glad we got those!

you can usually find them on ebay.

if you don't get the gift, just call your planner. mine forgot and sent them to me after the wedding.

We got married on 5-4-08 and didn't receive the watches. I just thought they didn't give them out anymore. Thanks for this info- I'll have to contact my planner.

We got ours in April. I actually loved the Cinderella Coach gift bag they came in even more than the gift!! Tanis gave us ours at the end of our cake cutting while the cake was being boxed.

We got married in 2003, so I know a lot has changed....but they gave us way more then. I was disappointed to find out they have stopped with some of the gifts, because I was looking forward to them when we do a vow renewal. Who knows what they will pass out then, but any gift is fun, no matter what it is!

We bought annual passes through the wedding department, and they gifted us with a night in a concierge turret room at the GF during our wedding, then they gifted us annual passes when we booked our wedding, then they gifted us another night in a concierge turret room at the GF for booking our wedding, then the surprise was the set of watches during the reception. They were packaged in what looked like a book, and were at our table setting when we went to finally sit down.

All in all though, Disney really does some nice work. I know everything can't be perfect, but boy do they really do everything they can to make it seem perfect!
