Hi There,

I am a non DVC member would like to spend a few nights at Disney Vero beach on our next visit (2011).
I phoned Disney about a week ago to enquire how to book a 5 nights stay at Vero Beach, I was informed that as a Non DVC member I would need to stay a few nights at a WDW Disney resort before my stay at DVB.
Could you confirm if this is correct? Or this there another way for a Non DVC member to stay at Disney's Vero Beach without having to stay at an site disney resort first?

My ideal plan would have been 10 nights in a villa then 4/5 nights at Vero Beach but instead I would now need to do for example 5 nights villa 5 nights WL then 5 night Vero Beach, just seems a lot of moving around.

Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks

Perhaps the cast member misunderstood what you wanted to do. I know of no reason why you would have to stay at WDW to be able to book VB. I know that every so often Disney Visa offers discounted rates for both VB and Hilton Head and they do not involve staying at WDW at all.

I have never heard of any such thing. I would call again. I know VB has its own website, but last time I looked there you couldn't book online, but had to call on the phone.

You do not have to be a DVC member to stay at a DVC resort. I'm goin to Vero Beach in Dec and I am not a DVC member. My parents stay at WLV every Christmas and they are not DVC members either. You need to call back and speak to a different CM.
