Heading down in October: 2 couples 22-25 year olds...trying to make a choice between the two?

Any and all Suggestions is appreciated!

Both are great! You have to decide what holds your interest the most? Hawaii or The West? Both have really good food and entertainment. The Luau is very good! Having been to hawaii and seen the "real thing", Disney's is extremely good! At the same time, the Hoop De Doo is hilarous!

Either way, you won't be disappointed.

DFi and I did the spirit of aloha show a few years ago and every visit since then we have done the Hoop Dee Doo. The hawaii show was nice but it was well, a little lame. The food was good though.

Hoop Dee Doo is funny, very funny.

But it really does depend on your personality. We enjoy watching people look foolish :rolleyes1 and plays on words kinda comedy. If you asked me do I like Hawaii or the West? I would say Hawaii, but that doesn't apply at all to these shows.

Something else to consider is that the show at the Poly can be cancelled due to weather, the Hoop Dee Doo is inside so you don't have to worry about that happening.

I'd recommend Hoop Dee Doo but they are both worth seeing at least once. Oh, and we are now 26 and 28 - pretty close to your age range.

I saw the aloha show last year and thought it was great. I had an awesome time and the food was pretty good. I loved the pineapple bread.

The one thing to keep in mind is the weather. I am not sure about the west show, but I know if there is inclement weather, the aloha show can be cancelled...it is risky with the late afternoon t-storms Florida likes to get. I am not sure if the same applies to the west show. That show might be completely indoors, aloha is not.

Thanks so much...We were leaning towards hddmr but I wanted to see what others had to say.
