Disney's Sheets Stink!

I get frustrated with the sheets not staying on the beds! I've resorted to packing my own bottom sheet and putting it on myself. I leave a note that they are to NOT change the bottom sheet. I usually pack a very noticable color. That seems to work.

;) Oh good, I thought I'd be the only one doing this.:thumbsup2

I agree with the OP about the terrible sheets at BWI. Last month, the sheets were overly starched and there were lots of stiff creases (from the machines?) that made them very uncomfortable.:sad2:

We did not notice the sheets at the Polynesian and Yacht Club to be bad over the past few years. The harsh cleaning chemicals and lack of fabric softener really kill the sheets and towels. I always pack a sheet and pillow where ever I go so if I do get some scratchy sheets I cuddle up with mine. ;)

It seems to be the method Disney was using to press the sheets as at the end there were very sharp, starched creases which were very, very uncomfortable. Maybe the starch machine was on the fritz but I saw this at both BWV and VWL. If you have ever taken a dress shirt to the dry cleaners and asked for extra heavy starch this is what the sheets were like.
Yes, yes, yes! I'm so glad it wasn't just me - I found the new sheets to be COVERED in tiny, knife-edge pleats at SSR in Aug., BWV in Dec. AND SSR in Jan. They are a high thread count, but all that starch and creasing defeats the point of high thred counts!
Same bedding is used throughout the entire property, its not individual to any single hotel.
Not true anymore - the Deluxe and DVC resorts have all been (or are in the prcess of being) switched to a higher thread-count Wamsutta sheet.
