I completely understand you're concerns about Skyliner. I too have acrophobia as well as agoraphobia. On paper, the Skyliner is a nightmare for me. Our trip in 2022 was my first visit with the Skyliner (we were staying at AoA that trip). I was sure Skyliner would be a disaster for me, but for several reasons, we really needed to stay at AoA. So I came up with a game plan. We always go to EP for a few hours on our arrival day so I knew this was the perfect situation to try the Skyliner -- we wouldn't be in a hurry or on any schedule. I also knew if I rode the first leg to CBR and couldn't tolerate any more than that, I could take a bus from there to MK, AK, or DS and bus to EP. I knew that if I couldn't ride it, I'd have to take an Uber to those parks most days or on days we weren't doing rope drop, I could take a convoluted bus route to get there. I do have the advantage of having a prescription for a low dose of Ativan for anxiety. So on that first day, I took an Ativan about an hour before we were going to ride. I told my family members that were riding with me that they could not move *at all* and that I would be staring straight out in to the distance and they should not be trying to make me look at anything else. That first leg of the ride to EP was terrifying for me, but I wanted to try it and be able to use it as I knew it would be super convenient for going to DHS & EP. I spent the entire ride gripping the edge of the seat and doing some relaxation breathing. I spent a few minutes at the CBR station breathing and relaxing. I wanted to call it quits but I got back on for the leg to EP and survived. The ride back to the resort later that evening was better, but still difficult for me. The next day was rope drop at DHS and I once again to an Ativan before riding. The trip was better than the day before. I rode it 4 times that day. By the end of the day, I was much more comfortable riding it. And it got better every day. By day 3, I was actually dreading having to ride a bus to MK. We ended up riding Skyliner 12 times that week and it was so convenient.
So...all that to say, maybe give it a try even if you stay at All Stars. If you have time when you're at DHS, you could just ride the Skyliner over to Pop/AoA (it's a really quick trip). You could even get off at CBR if you need to. Regardless of where you get off, you can take a bus to another park or DS and go back to All Stars. Or, if you find it's tolerable, you could ride it back to DHS and take a bus back to All Star. Just a suggestion. Like I said, I totally understand your fears, but I also understand wanting to stay at a favorite resort.
