I asked a CM why the ice cream machines were no longer in service. She said they were waiting for a part. I'm not sure if that is what they are told to say because I find it hard to believe that this is true. There are 2 machines sitting there. Surely by now Disney could have gotten the new part or ordered new machines. I was speaking with the manager on a non-related issue (floor in the room was buckled from prior flooding) and mentioned to him it would be great to have more dessert options. He agreed and said they have been asking for the return of the ice cream. Sounds silly but I am going to send an email requesting they get that up and running for guests to enjoy.

I did have the Pop Goes Bananas cupcake and it was really yummy. Just let it warm up. Also the Flashback Oatmeal Creme Pie was great...better than the Wookie Cookie in my opinion!

It's "worked" for McDonald's for years! Who knows...maybe a former McDonald's crew member got a job at Pop and said "You know how we can not have to clean this thing every day? Say there's a broken part we're waiting on!"

If you purchase a length-of-stay refillable mug it can be used to refill coffee at the Pop drink stations.

Does anyone know if it is possible to purchase or order a vegan birthday cake through the bakery section of the food court? If not, do you have any suggestions on the best way to get a vegan birthday cake?

I recommend the Ear for Each Other facebook group. It's full of CMs who lost their job during the pandemic who have started home bakeries and other businesses. They deliver to the resorts or in the area.

Pop normally has water available. If not out you may ask as sometimes it’s kept in the back. I don’t remember the last time someone reported they couldn’t get it at Pop.

Yes they are usually on low shelves to the right of the refrigerated foods as you stand facing them

Thanks. I will just planning on buying my water there instead of via Instagram...to bad they don’t sell them in gift shop where I could get AP discount but I’m just glad for the convenience of buying the water at the resort.

No, Disney has phased out the Clock Radios property wide AFAIK.

It may be worth a call to Housekeeping to see if they held on to any.
