Does anyone know how difficult it is to get a King if it is your only request. It is just my husband, myself and infant. I am going next week for the first time at pop checking in the 5th late afternoon or evening and checking out the 9th. It was a last minute trip. My mom is booked also but didn't request rooms near each other because I rather have the only request as a king.

I have tried in the past and been unsuccessful as at the time I was told many of the King rooms are also the accessible rooms. I'm not sure if this has changed or not.

Another time I was offered one but as it was an accessible room it did not work for me as it had a roll-in shower rather than a tub and I wanted a tub for my daughter who was an infant at the time.

Getting a king is completely dependant on occupancy and how many other guests requested a king also. We have no idea of each of those things so it's impossible to say.

Having said that, having a king room as your only request will give you your best chance. Good luck!

Be aware that some king rooms do not have tubs, only roll in shower (that's what we have booked since my DD needs a seat in the shower).

With an infant you may want a tub, right? Unless you bring a baby tub if he or she is really small.

We are staying 9/10-9/17
I am usually the over-planner and have a binder, itinerary, menus printed, and so on...
we are at like 73 days and I have nothing.... why? I am pregnant and sleep :crazy2:
Hopefully I am feeling better is 73 days - geez!
This is our babymoon/ sons last hurrah as an only child.
I can't wait to be there but my mind sure is gone.
Hopefully my boys can handle it.
Love all your tips - this will be our 4th time staying at POP - wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

I booked pop for feb 2017 and forgot to make a request for a king bed. What can I do to try to get a room with a king?

Call and add the request to your reservation. You can also make the request at advance checkin i think. And you can always fax a request a few days before you go,

Are the handicap accessible rooms with 2 beds bigger than the regular rooms? I know the bathroom has to be bigger so I'm wondering if they take space away from the room for the bathroom. Thanks!

These are our exact dates!
This is our second trip to POP. I stressed myself out too much last time so I am relaxing a little on the planning this trip too. That being said, we are less than 2 weeks from fastpasses! I need to make a few decisions still.

We got the king as requested on two trips but that was during time periods of lower crowds. Don't know what to expect for the middle of the summer. My wife insists on a tub so our order of preferences when calling in the room request was room with a tub and then king room or something to that effect.

No they are not bigger. All the rooms are the same size.

The table in the room is smaller to allow room for the wheelchair and the rooms that have a roll-in shower have pocket doors instead of the door that swings open.

So, I know they usually do movies outside on Friday nights. Am I going to look like a creeper going alone without kids?

Sorry, most likely answered in here somewhere, but what kind of toiletries are supplied? Shampoo, conditioner and body wash, all-in-one? And is it topped up daily or can we ask for more?

And how's the hairdryer (I think this is probably more of a girl question LOL)

I'm just trying to see what I can live without in my luggage

Oh, and where are the plugs located? I'll have a powerstrip to plug in for our chargers, and also will need to charge the ECV overnight

Edit: Oops, wrong thread
