If you don't want a handicap room be sure to add that to your request. Many of the king rooms are handicap accessible and some even have a roll-in shower with no tub.Going to put my request in for a King bed although I hear theres no many. If I cannot, any suggestion on where to request to stay at the resort? First time at POP.
We love the pools and we spend a lot of time hanging out by the hippy dippy pool. It's never been too crowded. This is our first time at Pop, and we are going in July. I was wondering how are the pools? We like to go to the park in the early morning and then spend some time at the resort pool in the afternoon.
We've stayed multiple times and I'm an early riser/early showerer. I've never heard of this or had this problem.I'm considering a trip to Pop Century next year. I saw a review elsewhere that said they couldn't get hot water in the bathroom before 7:30am at that resort, because they turn off the hot water overnight. Has anyone had any experience to the contrary? Have you ever taken a hot shower here earlier in the morning? (I would need to be running hot water in the sink at around 6:00am, for reference.) Thanks for your help.
Same here. I'm often up at 5:00am.
Never heard of a hot water issue.
Pools are great in the afternoon - just make sure you get an umbrella table to help with the sun! This is our first time at Pop, and we are going in July. I was wondering how are the pools? We like to go to the park in the early morning and then spend some time at the resort pool in the afternoon.
YES! This what I request - you get to see fireworks and stay away from the noise of the main bowling ball pool!Is the 50's building, top floor, and Lakeview a good online request?
Need a bit of clarification please. We have a Garden Grocer delivery that may arrive before we check in. Where do I go to pick up the package or can I wait until I am in my room and have it delivered to our room? If we can have it delivered to the room, do I call Bell Services on the room phone?
Last year it was me and my son in one room and some my ex-wife and a friend in another. (We get along great and my son spends his summer with her so he flew back with her). We requested connecting rooms and had no problem getting one in the 50's building. It was actually very nice and gave plenty of room to spread out. We were really close to Everything PoP, two pools and the buses. I would give it a shot if I was you.Do you think we will have trouble getting a pack and play at the end of August? Our TA put in a request when we booked and we will definitely need the pack and play. Also, are the chances good of getting a connecting room if it is requested? We are traveling with another family and would like to be connecting. Thanks!
First stay at POP. I booked STANDARD - POOL View.
In order of importance here are my requests.... so those that know POP please let me know where I should request knowing that I only booked Standard, not preferred.
1.) First Floor - I will have a stroller and would rather not do stairs/elevator regardless of better views higher up.
2.) Pool View - My older DS's will want to swim alone (14,10) but I'd like to be able to "see" them from my window while my youngest naps. (Thus - I wanted/paid for pool view.)
3.) Closest to main food court as possible while still under standard category.
I care very little about anything else. Kids will really love any type of pool - so which set of "decades" should I request for Standard/Pool View/First Floor/Close to food/buses as possible without upgrading to preferred?
Any help is appreciated!
Building 1 is awesome building in the 50's section. You are really close to the pools and the Classic Hall. That is our go to building.I would probably request building #1 in the 50's. That's the bowling pin pool.
But if you're interested in the computer pool, request building #9 in the 80's.
