The food court is no longer carrying any prepackaged donuts including boxes of entemann's donuts. The only donuts POP has at this time are the individual ones in the bakery case. They are Krispy Kreme and available during breakfast. This was at the advice of one of the food court managers. HTH.
When we were at POP at the end of January, they still had bags of entemanns powered sugars donuts in the Everything POP gift shop. We had bought those and a box of the chocolate chip cookies. They weren't in the food court, but they were in the gift shop. But, maybe things have changed since January

How exciting. I have never done a solo trip. Recently I have been considering one. Have you done this before? Do you get lonley?
This is my first solo trip. My last trip was in September 2015 with DH and DD who are my usual traveling companions. I'm a little worried about getting lonely but it is just a 3 night trip.

I am a pre-senior citizen and I will be going solo again this April staying at Pop. Been going solo for many WDW trips and always have a good time. Always meet interesting people where ever I am in Walt Disney World. Never am lonely. Also the cast members go out of their way to make me feel important and 'unalone" Enjoy your solo trip:)

I love to travel alone and never get lonely - I am just sort of an on-my-own kind of person. I would SUPER love to do a solo trip at Disney!! I should go look at prices...

For all you solo travelers, or those of you that are thinking about a solo trip, let me just say this. I went solo to POP a year ago last August. I loved it. It was wonderful. No looking over your shoulder, or ahead of yourself for the rest of your party. Instead, you can plan the entire trip around whatever you want to do. It's glorious, and with Memory Maker, you can still be in tons and tons of pictures.

is there a way to get hot water for free in the food court? I have my own decaf green that i bring when away, but usually there is a coffee maker in the room to make the hot water. I dont drink soda or coffee so would hate to have to buy a mug for just heated water.

I always bring my own cup from home with a lid. It's plastic. I also bring my own Lipton Tea bags. Then you can get your own hot water in the food court. It will save you almost $3 per serving. Pop Century does not have coffee makers in the room. Frankly that never works for me. The tea always ends up tasting like coffee. Like the tea on an airplane always tastes like coffee as well, but I don't fly that often, so I deal.

I think a 3-4 day trip would be the perfect amount to "try out" a solo trip. I'm seriously going to consider this. I hope you have a great time.

You could bring one of those small immersion water heaters and a mug from home. That way you can heat the water right in your room and make your tea there.

I looked for them and couldn't find them. Maybe they were sold out but it sounds like they have discontinued carrying entemann's products....
I will check the gift shop again....just to be sure..

Thank you everyone for your support of my first solo trip. I'm so excited! My plan is to spend quite a bit of time in Epcot for the flower and garden festival, something my husband and daughter find boring. Also looking forward to my first stay at POP. Planning to request a top floor room in the 70's building.

I just returned from a 6 night stay at Pop. I had a room in the 70's building, right near the giant Mickey, and the elevator. It was a very quiet location on the 2nd floor. I love Pop. It is a fun resort, and it works for my budget.

Was it considered a standard room?
