Disney's POP CENTURY RESORT Information & Questions

There are three rooms on each floor in both the 60's building that are listed as preferred pool, that look on to the kiddie pool section when you look at touring plans room views. On your map, they are listed as preferred, but on touring plans, they are listed as preferred pool. I don't know if this information is correct or not. But that's how they are listed.

I don't know Pop as well as other resorts. Having said that, I have found that of the resorts I know well Touring Plans is extremely inaccurate when it comes to room types, amenities and views. So much so I stopped using it and no longer recommend it.

But again, I don't know if that's the case with Pop.

I know that the view is correct from those rooms. I would imagine that it's quite possible that these three rooms could be preferred pool. If you look to the right, you'll see the Hippy Dippy pool. But you are in front of the kiddie pool area.

What are the room numbers?

I also had that experience with TP on my last trip regarding inaccurate room information. I emailed them and described my rooms to them and they replied back and thanked me for the update, & assured me that they would update it in their system. I know it must be nearly impossible to keep that system updated.

My daughter and I are going the end of July and this will be our first time staying at Pop. When I booked the resort, I requested 50's building, upper floor. Is that a decent location? Also, I was wondering if they have a shop where you can buy milk, box of donuts, sunscreen, etc. Thank you.

The Everything Pop is a food court and gift shop. I believe the gift shop has sunscreen, and milk can be purchased In the food court. There seem to be boxes of Entemans available in most of the resort shops. HTH!

The 50's is great. We request it every trip, and yes you can get milk, donuts, sunscreen, etc. I don't buy much food to keep in the room but the boxes of donuts are a great value in terms of Disney prices, so I buy one of those and throw it in the fridge.

I always make my request for 50s, top floor (and then ask at check-in) if they have lakeview avail too. Bldg 3 in the 50s section is ideal for me. I find it quiet. Usually I have a partial view of the HS fireworks over Hourglass Lake. A few more mins walk to the bus/caf but not much more than 60s. The cafeteria has half jugs of milk in the coolers. I have never looked for donuts or sunscreen but PPs would know. Re breakfast food, I usually pack some cereal, granola bars and starbucks instant coffee and hot chocolate and these make for an easy inexpensive breakfast and allow me to spend my $ or dining plan credits on lunch and dinner. I pack a plastic mug and some plastic cutlery so I am set for an easy, quick breakfast in the morning. If possible, I always pack my own sunscreen in my checked bag as Disney prices are crazy. However, if flying carry-on only, I still pack a small trav sz bottle in my liquid allowance bag. Enjoy your stay!

Anyone know if cherry coke is available at the beverage stations in everything pop?

Pop certainly used to have Cherry Coke. The stations are not all the same, so if, for example, you want regular Sprite, Sprite Zero, or Cherry Coke you need to locate the right machine for those choices.
