Thank you for your response. How will I be notified if I have to stop at the Front Desk? If I don't hear anything, is it okay to assume I can go right ot my room?
As others have said, if you do online check-in you should get a text/email that either tells you your room number and lets you know you can go straight to your room; or you'll get a message indicating that your room isn't ready yet but they will notify you when it is; or you'll get a message that indicates you need to stop at the front desk. Sometimes the "your room is ready" text gets delayed for some reason. If you don't get a message by the time you arrive at the resort, check your MDE account to see if your room number is showing there. If it is, you can go straight to your room. If not, you'll need to stop at the front desk.
