I’m not positive about the statuses. I believe all standard rooms at Movies is done because we’re staying there for 1 night next month so I looked up that one. I would recommend going to the resorts board and see if they have update threads there.
I was thinking movies was not included in the bounce back

Just going to "PoP" in here for a quick sec to drop a rumor / not rumor / shouldn't surprise anyone.

Anyway, we just got home from 9 days at POP, and had some issues with check-in that required a manager to deal with us, and well it took a while so we chatted quite a bit. Got on to discussing the new room refurbs and the SkyLiner, etc. and ... room rates. I was saying that the rooms had a much more moderate feel to them now, perhaps better than the moderates, and she replied with something to the effect that their rates were "still" so reasonable. But, it gave the impression that like, she was saying "for now". Anyway, I responded with something to the effect that "You and I both know when the Gondola gets opened these rooms are going to priced like the moderates or more " And I threw out there $200, $250, More ? And she just sort of pinched her lips closed and then made the zipping the lips and locking them gesture ... but again, the acknowledgment was pretty clear that rates would be going up, considerably.

ANyway, we had a great stay, it was our first at POP, loved the food court and the new rooms, and a great upper floor lake view so it was nice and quiet, really a good stay and a pretty decent value ... for now at least :)

I've been looking at next year first or second week of August. POP is $200 a night. Before tax. All Stars are $165. Ouch.

I’m looking at the $117 nights this is for all star music Next year....probably will do just a 6 night next year to cut costs, but I’ve learned my lesson going to book a seven or eight night because there’s always a chance that I’ll end up wanting to add on and I can always take off at night but it can be very difficult to add on( when using like the bounce back offer)
There are basically four weeks here with all the same lowest rates just need to decide which week might be the slowest Lol430031

I realize now though I’m posting this in what I thought was the bounce back thread sorry guys

I just did a price check on our dates in April. POP is showing 1600 total for 8 nights. I think I'll reserve it and hope for a discount later.
Hope we like The POP!

So the chart is bounce back rates? $117 is great! But there is no way I'll do Disney anymore from June through October. Too hot and sometimes too wet.

Yes our favorite time of the year was in November but we just can’t afford the rates anymore we would have to go for less days and we don’t want to do that.... we usually go end of September Plus we live in Georgia so we are used to the heat

We are staying at POP post cruise Oct 27th to Oct 29th, 2019 and we could not get a discounted room. We are preferred $169 per night plus tax, or $190 per night.

Remember, we're dealing with date-based pricing for rooms, now, too. So, for instance, I'm arriving at POP 2 weeks after you, and AFTER tax, the rack rate for my week is $185 a night for POP. So when people are quoting prices for any of the resorts, pay close attention to when they are going, because your stay could be quite a bit more, or quite a bit less.

Sorry, my message was a little confusing. We arrive in 11 nights for 8 nights at Pop then I added 1 night at ASMo. I will be booking a FD BB at Pop for Sep 2020.

Great chart! How do you get to that? I've tried a couple of ways and can't get it to show up in cool chart form like that!

If you look at next year, the rates already look higher to me. There isn’t a whole lot of difference between Pop and the lowest moderate rate.

Anyone that has priced Pop for next year knows that it has already noticeably gone up in price. I love the new rooms and looking forward to riding the skyliner but once the All Stars have been renovated, we will probably stay there if they remain lower priced than Pop.

When you go to the specific hotel and click on rate details it should pull it up at least it will for the week you’re looking at or the day you’re looking at but then there’s another little thing you can click that says view rate calendar within that pop up window

Thanks! Works perfectly!!

I guess I missed it, I tried looking on the first page but what is the number that you call to ask them to put a note for a room request ?

Hi - I have a couple questions I am hoping someone can answer on this thread.

We have a preferred room at POP booked (not preferred pool view - just preferred). We would like to request a room close to the AoA bridge for quick access to the Skyliner on the first floor. Does anyone have any suggestions? I was going to request 60s but it looks like those rooms are preferred pool view.

Also - does anyone know if there is room for a child sized air mattress on the floor with both beds in use? Pics would be awesome. I am 38 days out and starting to freak out a little! TIA!
Building 4 has preferred, the side facing the other buildings isn’t pool view since it’s a splash pad. In April we stayed building 4, room 4461, which was the last room at the back facing the splash pad. It was the last room beside the stairs.

I keep wondering if this pool rehab will include a slide and hot tub. Just seems it has been planned for so long. With the queen beds and the gondola if they added a slide and hot tub the only thing missing would be a sit down restaurant, and really that would only be a short gondola ride away.
