Definitely, yes. I've stayed in a refurb room twice now and loved the beds both times. Most recently was a girls trips for me and 2 other adult women, one who had a recently diagnosed herniated disk. She'd been in constant pain and unable to sleep for more than a couple hours each night at home. She was able to get a solid 6+ hours of sleep each night without waking up at all and that was even sharing a bed with me. They really are great mattresses and as scrappingontario said, both beds are identical. The only difference is that one lifts to reveal the table.

That's very helpful, thank you!!!

Yes, absolutely. I'm so happy your daughter is healing from such a horrific accident! What a fun way to celebrate!

Thank you! And yes, it's been quite a summer! From early on in the recovery process she has said she wants to use part of her settlement to take us both on a Disney trip. She is determined! :cloud9: I thought a cruise would be a little easier for her but she really wants to see Epcot and Animal Kingdom. She should be back to her usual form, for the most part, by next spring.

Oh really! That's good to know. Follow up, so this trip is a celebration of my daughter recovering from a pretty bad car accident this past May. (broken pelvis primarily)
Still high quality enough for either her or her dear aging mother?
Most definitely!!

Ok, we are seriously down to the crunch....8 days until we depart for our 14 nights @ Pop and 9 days until we arrive!! I'm so freaking excited, I wasn't sure we would be able to make it back since the Canadian dollar is in the toilet lol. It only took almost three years!

Tell me your "must not forget" item. Last time @ POR my must not was a power bar but I don't think outlets will be an issue with all those yummy usb ports in the new rooms at Pop!

I think we will be there for part of the same time! One thing I always like having are the small disposable plastic rain coats that fold up and can fit in a pocket or barely take any room in a purse. I get them from amazon.com and they've saved my bacon more than once. They're great to have as backup when you leave the room and think it won't rain and it does rain - just to have as an emergency without having to carry the big poncho.

I think you will love the new Pop rooms - they have so much nice storage space!

Oh bummer. It'll be me and my 23 year old daughter and I don't think either of us relish sleeping on the table top bed. Maybe we'll look at Art of Animation instead.

As people are reassuring you above, don't be thrown by the Murphy bed/table top description. The bed folds up and down, but it's a real, queen size mattress the same as the "regular" bed next to it. I checked the mattress labels in our recent Pop room and they were identical.

It's a creative way to allow for more space in the room during the day, but allow for bigger beds in the room for sleeping.

We have 9 days until we arrive at Pop also! :stitch:
Just be aware that you should keep an eye on devices you plug into the usb ports. Sometimes it took all night for something to charge, sometimes it wasn't charged at all or sometimes it was charged quickly.

Hi everyone! My husband and I are headed to Pop next month for our 5 year wedding anniversary. I was wondering if anyone had used the hair dryers that are in the room. The old wall mounted dryers used to eat my hair. I’m hoping since the room renovations that the hair dryers are better. Thank you!

After reading of challenges people had with the USB ports I chose not to use them during our trip just to be on the safe side.

The new hair dryers in the bag are great!!

We always have to have a power bank to bring to the parks and headphones to listen to white noise at night.

I seem to remember one person posting that using one of the USB ports caused one of their devices to be wiped out. That was scary enough for me to bring wall chargers rather than relying on the USB ports.

Yep that’s what we do too. We tried the usb outlets but woke up to phones that were dead.
My cell phone gives me a message if the USB port isn't providing enough juice to charge it quickly.

Amen to that..............
