Does anyone know what the current charge is to add a third adult to your room? My brother may join us in September.

I just published some drive-by refurbed room photos that include the coffeemaker! Also, building 7 has kicked off...
Great news! Where can we find these pictures?

Here now and wanted to report that the cases of water (24 pack of 12 oz bottles) are 6.99 at the food court. You have to ask the cashier and they will bring a case out to you. Just bought one yesterday. Also pool towels have been available at hippy dippy pool and computer pool this weekend. I think I still saw the sign to bring towels from your room but they were at the pool. Bus service has been good despite construction. And the refillable mugs have the white handles with different colored lids. Hope this helps people.

Thank you. We're probably one of the few families who don't care about a coffee maker, but I do love the hutch area. We do not generally use the table for anything other than to throw things on, so the hutch will be that, and the shelving above will help for more organization.
We are going in two weeks, I know we won't have a new room because we have a Preferred Pool View, but maybe next trip.
You don't get more than a few extra square feet at a moderate, and maybe a flip down. The beds are queens instead of fulls. So the extra space you would essentially get is taken up with the size of the beds.Hi! We are in the planning stages for our 3rd trip to WDW and have stayed at AoA in a family suite in the past. We would like to do Pop but with 3 adults, 1 child, stroller, our stuff, etc would we be better off with adjoining rooms at Pop or going to a moderate?
We've always been spoiled at AoA with 2 bathrooms in the suite but we're looking for a change next trip but still want to be comfortable.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Wasn't this on Touring Plans and he mapped it out in his driveway?Yes, this! So many people say they move up to a moderate for "more space" but in reality, there's not much more "usable" space. There was a thread a few years ago where someone actually took measurements of the furniture and floor space in a standard room at POR to prove the point. As it turned out, there was an insignificant increase in the amount of "usable space" in that room than in a standard Value resort room. All of the extra floor space was taken up by larger furniture and a slightly larger vanity area. I wish I had bookmarked that thread when it was happening. There were a lot of people who were surprised with the results. And most people don't know that the bedroom area of a standard AKL room is smaller than that same area in the moderate resort rooms. At AKL, the extra square footage is allocated to the bathroom and entry area.
I agree. I would think with the new lay out, it would be easier just to bring a twin blow up bed for one person and put it by the door and then you have more than enough room for a pack and play that will not block anybody from the bathroom. It's a bummer they do not have rollaway cots. They would be perfect for this layout.Yes, this! They've done something similar on Touring Pans (the driveway thing you're referring to), but I don't think that accounted for furniture, etc. and was just a straight square footage comparison (if I'm remembering it correctly). The thread on this board (at least I think it was here) had not only the square footage of the room, but the measurements for the beds, table, dressers, etc. They added up the total amount of square footage that the furniture covered and subtracted it from the square footage of the room. It was just a comparison between POR and one of the Value resorts (ASMo, I think). It was very eye opening for me at the time because I was getting ready to make the jump from Value to Moderate to give us "more space". I changed my mind after seeing that.
I get this, but they just added a queen and a double. So you still get your queen bed, in a cheaper room.DH & I will like the "more space" being taken up by the queen bed instead of a double!
