You can get it from the food court. But, maybe just buy a cheap coffee pot and bring it with you. Or... check out Kellyspds.com. This is Kelly's personal Disney Shopper site where you can rent a coffee maker.

Thank you Mbuksa - I will check into the site you referenced.

Thanks for the first pics @DavidHobart !

Just a heads up that the link on your blog does not appear to be working. I found your post by searching the scrollbar on the right of your page.

Looking forward to more pics!

Thanks again!

The refurb kicked off this morning, photos on my site.

Makes sense to start with Bldg 8 where they house the BTG masses since that season is over.

I'll be there for a week in April .... now I know where to request :thumbsup2 to be away from!

I fixed the link (thanks!!), and added three more photos. The material one is the to-do list, which confirms the Inova bed, and includes a "Beverage Center."

It's fine for anyone to post any of these photos (e.g. the to do list). I'm not supposed to per TOS, since it's my own site...but others can!!

It looks like they're putting in a telescoping door and a sliding barn door. I'm guessing that these are in the bathroom/vanity areas. And they also indicate a "door" on the tub/shower...I'm guessing those will be the standard sliding glass doors that are in many hotel room bathrooms. Interesting. I can't wait to see pics of a renovated room!!!

Thanks for the update and photos!

Also, your post kinda freaked me out a little bit. I just got the mail and sat down to check if any of the DIS thread I'm following were updated. As I was clicking the link to your post I was opening a package I got in the mail. What was the package I received? It was the easy Guide to Your Walt Disney World Visit 2017, lol. By the way I'm currently half way thru the kindle version of the book.

Your pictures are amazing @DavidHobart !!! Wow...looks like the first refurbished rooms could be available to guests before then end of the month! That's much faster than I anticipated!

Hmmm....might be changing my normal room request when we visit in September to try out one of the refurbished rooms!

I need yalls expert opinions! Today is my online check in day (60 days to go!) and it's also my first time staying at POP!

I booked a standard room and I was originally going to request "60s Section" and "Highest Floor" so that hopefully I would be close to the lobby (it looks like the 60s are the closest judging by a map). I also had called in to request the 60s section. Online, I saw there's a request "Near Lobby" that piqued my interest - has anyone selected this? Do you this would increase think my odds of being closer to the lobby than just picking the 60s section? I realize this may be a dumb question...

I don't know what to pick - so any help is appreciated! Thank you!

So the renovated rooms will have a queen and a fold down full like the AoA suites?

Should I try and request a renovated room for end of April? Thoughts? The 90's is not my favorite building, but we've stayed in it before. My DH likes this pool best.

@WDW*Fan, the 60's section are closest to the lobby. These are a few rooms in the 50's that are closer but not many and they have a parking lot view rather than a lake view. I would recommend going with our first requests.

Yes, from what we can see this will be the case. Until the first rooms are returned we won't know the final look for sure.

Thank you so much!

Well, we went back and forth for a while about where we wanted to stay, but we just made the decision to come back to Pop in November for a girls-only trip! We'll be there November 10th-13th and hoping we get a refurbished room.

We have never had anything but positive experiences at Pop. We're going back end of April, can't wait. I love being in 50's facing the lake. Being able to see fireworks from the lake is wonderful.
We have 9 kids (1 will be under 3 next trip) and while I've wanted to try staying onsite with them again, we'd need 3 POP rooms (woudn't do this) or 2 CBR rooms. When we had 8 (2 of them were under 3) we stayed in two POFQ rooms for 4 nights and enjoyed it...but that was after 2 hours in the lobby of POR trying to get connecting rooms, not just adjoining. My oldest is 15, so we would have to have connecting but I don't ever want to deal with the chaos of not getting the right room and then spending hours in the lobby after a 20+ hour drive. Have you had luck getting the rooms that you needed with your large family? Any secrets? I feel relegated to DVC or back to offsite for the whole next trip.
