Hope it is amazing! My only worry outside of noise is getting sick in the middle of it, would rather not deal with that. My son got really sick on a Disneyland trip and no matter what people think about covid, feeling horrible in the middle of a trip is not cool lol

Oh I agree! Getting sick is such a worry and we were so worried about it too up until our trip. I wish you the best and hope you have the greatest time!

I’m not sure if this has been reported but we had an Oasis patio booked today and they had a cooler with sodas and water as well as a basket of snacks. Nice addition to the patio rental. 🏝

Does anyone know how to go about reserving the chairs/set-up at the volcano pool? I know it can only be done the day of - but how? By phone or in-person at the front desk? And what time? If anyone has any clue, I'd so appreciate it!

Curious about this too... are the ones at the Oasis pool the same then or can you reserve those ahead of time?

Oasis pool patios (cabanas) are booked and paid for ahead of time on the phone... and I was told the volcano pool cabana is booked day-of by visiting the front desk

Hey y'all! I am super pumped, I booked 7 nights at the Poly for January. I originally had a package through disney but a request to rent DVC points came through so I went with that and was able to save quite a bit. I am wondering about room requests. I know people usually call/chat or use Touring Plans to put in requests but I wasn't sure what the options are when it is a DVC room. I don't know if the company I rented with will forward requests to the owner to call in or if I am just out of luck and get what I get. Anyone have any info?

Best option is to have the owner submit the request to DVC member services either by chat, email or phone call.
edit: just ask the rental company, hopefully the owner will not mind. Remember request are not guaranteed.

Thank you. I figured I would give it a shot. I will be happy in any room at the Poly but if there is a chance I can get Tokelau I am going to try.

Try to keep your request simple (better chance of being fulfilled)
example: #1 request Tokelau.

For those of you that have been at the Poly for July 4th fireworks- how crowded is the beach since limited to guests? We are trying to decide how early to get there. Thinking 8-8:30ish?
