I requested a quote for 1 room and put in my top 3 choices as:
1. WL
2. AKL
3. Boardwalk Inn
The next day I received an email confirming my reservation for the Boardwalk Villas (2 bedroom) with a price and a date on which my deposit is due to avoid cancellation. UPDATE***Since then, I also received travel documents via snail mail, confirming my reservation, and asking that I submit my deposit before my reservation is cancelled.
As BW Villas werent even 1 of my top 3 and I certainly dont need a 2 bedroom, I just wont send the money and let the ressie cancel in 14 days, but wouldnt it make more sense for Disney to send a quote back and ask if you want them to reserve it, rather than just reserve it?
So now, they have taken a 2 bedroom out of their inventory (someone else may be trying to book and getting no availability). Seems a little backwards to me.
