Disney's must try snacks

How have we gotten this deep into the thread without somebody mentioning School Bread from Norway in Epcot? That stuff is amazing!

As others mentioned previously, Dole Whip in MK and Jalapeno Cheese Pretzel in AK are both excellent as well!

This is not going to help you...but there are always some great snacks at Epcot during the Food and Wine festival. I remember getting the snack sized cheddar cheese soup outside the Canadian Pavillion (Le Cellier)

At the risk of sounding like a total noob lol, where is this glorious "Nutella Waffle" located? I love Nutella almost more than air so this is a big deal. :lmao:

It's at Sleepy Hollow in the Magic Kingdom (Liberty Square, across from the Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe).

It's a Belgium waffle, with Nutella, strawberries, and bananas on top.

If you like salted popcorn then Disney popcorn is a must do.
Personally I could and would happily eat anything and everything from Karamel Kuche (especially the caramel corn) but do note that their brownie is the cakey version of brownie- Sunshine Seasons however has the (what I deem) proper type of brownie.
Funnel cakes are great, one of them can feed four of us and for us they're unique to Disney :)
We also enjoy the various slush drinks available (great for summer!) particularly the American Dream although we had an interesting mix-up from somewhere in Hollywood Studios (that included a pina colada flavour!!)

Dole whip is a must buy! Also a must have is the fudge on main street! We never leave without it! Other yummy treats are popcorn, churro's, frozen bananas, citrus swirls, nutella waffles.....and thats just a few!

Give me a Mickey rice crispy treat and I'm happy man. DW has to have a Mickey Bar and Dole Whip. Our daughter will eat anything with sugar in it.
I want to try the Nutella Waffle in July.

Dont know if theyve been mentioned, but here are my favorite must do's and some drinks too!

-Nutella & fruit waffle sandwich. @ sleepy hollow in MK
-LeFou's Brew (no alcohol) @ gaston's tavern in MK

-Red Velvet cheesecake cupcake @ starring rolls in DHS

-School Bread @ norway in Epcot
-Grand Marnier orange slush (boozey!) in france in Epcot

Beignets from Port Orleans French Quarter

Mickey Rice Krispie treat with chocolate covered ears or the indulgent make own own Krispie from Goofys (my fave is milk chocolate with crushed butterfinger drizzled with white chocolate)

Chocolate mousse cake from sunshine seasons

Basically anything from Starring Roles or Goofys

Not technically a snack but we love Tonga Toast from the Poly as well

Totally off topic, but just struck me as funny. I live in a fairly small town, here in the south, but there are several large weekend flea markets all within 30 minutes to an hour from me. Every single one of them sell funnel cakes and smoked turkey legs. Heck, our local Jack in the Box used to sell a smaller version of the funnel cakes for just .99. Consequently, I have never understood the draw of either at WDW. I can get a funnel cake anytime for $3.50 and a turkey leg for around $6.00 (used to be $5.00). No way would I pay Disney's prices for either.:rotfl::rotfl: On the same lines, I saw on another post here on the DIS earlier tonight, where someone from Canada said they loved the Waffle House restaraunts in Florida. Even in my fairly small town, we have two of those and they are never busy. They are considered more a hang out for the local old men to drink coffee and gossip in the mornings.:rotfl: I don't know anyone that actually eats at either. I have a friend up north in New England who is fascinated by our Sonic car hops that bring your meals out on roller skates. Again we have two here, even in our small town and are just used to them. Some of the car hops may not skate out to the car anymore, but probably 90% of them still do (at least at both of our Sonics). In fact, I saw an ad in the window of the one closest to my house saying they were hiring 'skating' car hops. My friend says they don't have Sonics up north, so always stops for their foot long chili cheese dogs and Route 44 drinks, when he comes across one in his travels.:rotfl: They're one of his favorite places to eat. Here they are not a big deal. I remember when Doh Bars (deep fried battered Snickers) were first introduced at Cookes of Dublin in DTD. Here on the DIS every one went ga ga over them. At the time, I thought what the heck, us southners will deep fry anything and have been eating deep fried candy bars and deep fried oreos for years. They are at all the fairs and flea markets around here. lol

Like you when I'm at Disney I want to try things that remind me of being uniquely Disney. It's just funny what those things may be to different people who live in different areas.
