Disneys Mnsshp vs Universals Halloween horror nights??

Thanks for the info. I'm really considering trying MNSSP now even if we are a little older. I think we'll also like the parade, the decorations, etc., and I don't know if I'll get back this time of year (I guess it depends on how much I like the HHN! ) so maybe we will try it.
What rides are open during MNSSHP? Is it like HHN where they close the park just for the halloween people, - does MK close down for just the MNSSHP attendees? If you pay for the park at MK for the day can you stay for the MNSSHP I wonder? Thanks all!

We love both and we go to both every year. We just got back from HHN and had a blast. We even did their daytime tour the next day to see 3 houses in the light. We are child-free and are going to MNSSHP this month (dressed up) with another child-free couple. We went with our other child-free friends last year and had a blast. It is kid friendly but not for kids/families only.

I like both for different reasons. MNSSHP is very Disney, family orientated, cute and not scarey. HHN is very much suited to adults. It pushes the envelope just like Universal does.

We are going to both again this year:thumbsup2

Don't forget your camera...:) I'm glad you liked the houses in the light. It was nice to meet you there.
