I just had to share...just saw someone who told me they we on their way to Disney...when I asked if they were staying on site she says ..."Oh yes at disney's jungle land resort..."...I let it go..I wanted to ask if she had the park hours, PS's, planning on using EMH, itinerary etc, but I already knew the answer...

I did mention that it was Animal Kingdom so that it will sound familiar when they are looking for the parking lot!! :earseek:

It would've been really hard for me to bite my tongue on that one! :rotfl:

Dawgfan,

I've been meaning to tell you, your picture is too cute. I love it.

OMG!!!!!!!! That is just too funny!!! I doubt I would have told her the right name.. see if she could have found her way to the hotel on her own LOL LOL LOL

Knowing me, I would have said "Oh, you mean Animal Kingdom Lodge?"

Thanks about the pic. I would have had to have a class right then on Disney. Just to let this person know what they are getting into and to make sure that they were prepared for the trip. Years ago a friend of mine was taking his first trip to Disney and he bought a book and read it religiously. I asked him about this as it seemed odd to "study hard" for a vacation. He explained the prep involved and I have him to thank for the trip I made two years later. I bought a book and was prepared. I saved money and made a great first trip for my kids. When ever I encounter someone that does not seem to know what they are getting into I always try to explain as much as possible.

you puppy is cute!

I would probably have asked if it was a Disney resort?????

with all the new resorts going up - one never knows////

You have better control than I do. This is a winter break week here and many were heading out to DW. I have to bite my tongue alot. I have had many tell me that they do not know where they are staying. One recently murdered the name of CB. Also when they return I am speechless (which is hard), when they say that they did not even visit MGM or Epcot, because they did not think the kids would like it. I almost want to cry at that one.

I know what the OP means. Some people are sooooo clueless. I can't imagine not doing ANY research when you're spending a pile of money for a vacation. People make uninformed WDW remarks to me all the time, and sometimes I just don't have an hour to explain everythng to them.

THOSE are the people who come back saying their trip was terrible and they had terrible service from rude CMs. Can you imagine them being lost and stopping in at POP to ask a question, "Where is the Jungle Land resort? We can't find it anywhere. The DIsney maps are TERRIBLE!" CM replies with a surprised look, 'There is no Jungle Land Resort." "Yes there is, we have reservations there!" The scenario could go on and on, resulting in a bad trip report filled with Disney flaws and bad CM's.

CUTE puppy!!!!!!!

Maybe it's that new Bruce Springsteen themed resort...

there's a Jungle themed resort on the corner of 535 and Palm Parkway... maybe they meant that one.

I don't get how people can make their plans, reservations, PS, etc and STILL not know the correct name of the resort in which they are staying.

Or worse, return from a trip and don't know! I've known people who went to WDW and I asked, where'd you stay? and they can't remember the name!!!! :rotfl:
