Disney has dropped a new trailer for its animated pic Frozen. The 3D film is co-directed by Chris Buck and Wreck-It Ralph co-writer Jennifer Lee. Jonathan Groff, Kristen Bell, Josh Gad and Idina Menzel lead the voice cast. Loosely based on Hans Christian Andersen’s classic fairy tale The Snow Queen, the film takes place as a prophecy traps a kingdom in eternal winter. The new trailer is fast-moving with some funny lines by an anthropomorphized snowman named Olaf. Frozen bows on November 27.

This movie looks beyond awful. The characters have stopped being Disney characters and have now morphed into generic characters from any other company. Though it has been happening for a while. The horse from Tangled comes to mind. This poster might as well saw "The Croods" at this point.

~The US version for Frozen's trailer is just silly -- it's marketed as a cute comedy for toddlers or something. I just don't know what to make of this film. I will admit that the characters look way too much like Tangled. But, I really want to love this film, so I hope this won't alter my impression of the movie. I can't wait to see it!

~Anyway, the French version for Frozen's trailer is way better. It's dramatic and alludes to a certain level of depth and complexity. It also reveals an element of danger -- all in 50 seconds. The snow monster in the US trailer is portrayed as a teddy bear!

Not Interested at All :0( My kids and I saw this trailer and we were ALL pondering Why the first looks that's been floating around a while now featured an odd ball snow man when it was really about a princess? BTW the little weird snow man doesn't even seem to fit into princess/frozen adventure story that has been revealed. I can honestly say there were no "mom we gotta see this!" comments in our house. I think we're going to pass this time and my kids are 10,8,&4.

The snowman was part of the teaser trailer those teasers are always a bit off of the actually point of the movie. I'm interested to see how Disney will do with this and I will go and see it.

Maybe the other films are morphing to be more like Disney, being they were the first and best.

I think it looks awesome. It is going to be great. It is about time they tackled the ice queen story. The snow man is hilarious.

Market a Disney movie to little children!? What was Disney thinking!!

It appears to me to be a good story that will have elements for both children and adults. I did notice the horse seeming to appear like the horse in Tangled, but that doesn't bother me.

I'm going first day and taking a bunch of kids with me!!

Well...the trailers for "Tangled" made it look kind of like a DreamWorks movie as well. Thankfully, it turned out to be an instant classic!

Frankly, I'm surprised there aren't any Rapunzel/Tangled themed attractions in the works for the parks. It's a lot newer than BATB and just as popular.
