Disney's Favorite Girl Doll question...

Sorry if this is answered somewhere else...

I would love to get my niece a Disney Fav Doll for Christmas...but wanted to know if they are the same size as the American Girl Dolls from Pleasant Company...she has some of those clothes, etc already and I don't want to give her something that she has to start all over again with.

They are the same height - I've found the our American Girl Dolls to be a bit plumper, so the Disney Doll can wear the American girl clothing, but the AG dolls don't fit into the Disney clothing. We have the original AG dolls, not the ones made by Mattel, btw.
