Disney's Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf?

I absolutely love the "Fairways" course. Is it a true "pitch and putt" no, because you simply putt. But its the only mini golf course I've ever been to thats designed to replicate a real golf course. I mean some of the holes you really have to whack it to get it there. The only problem with the fairways course, its incredibly difficult. Most of the bunkers have been removed, so its not as brutal as it used to be, but its still rediculously tough. I cant imagine how the course record is in the 40's, because its all but impossible. I'm a 4 handicap in real golf, and I've only broken 60 on this course a couple times. But thats what makes it so fun in my opinion, and I cant wait to go back.....

Oh and the last 2 times i've been this year they gave me a free golf ball with a character on it...

Awesome I am glad to hear that it is a fun course even though it will be hard! Sounds like it should be a ton of fun!

That is cool that you get a free golf ball with a character on it! I hope they are stilling giving them out when we go!

CORRECTION

Due to my 'stupid fingers' I wrote the wrong thing. I was the score on the RIGHT not the Left in my photo. We were playing the Putt Putt side, not the miniture golf side.

My kids loved Fantasia Gardens, and we each got a Grumpy golf ball when we finished! LOL
One question though..could anyone tell me why there is that large area of ?circus tents/canopies? with nothing but a huge empty area underneath them all?? While we golfed, I kept looking over there wondering what such a large empty area could be for. It almost looked like covered waiting for some kind of event?? Anyone??

The Swalphin uses it to host events, although in all the times I've been there I've only seen it in use once. The Fantasia land itself used to be a parking lot for the Swalphin as well...
