Hey all, I just got back from seeing Enchanted. It was definitley a MUST see for any Disney fan. While it is a children's movie, it's fun for adults too! Just thought I'd pass on a positive review for it. Patrick Dempsey stars in it (all you Grey's Anatomy lovers-major plus! :) ) along with newcomer Amy Adams (fantastic!), and the dashing James Marsden.. Also, Idina Menzel (She played Elphaba in the original production of "Wicked") is featured as well. Overall a great family movie and one of the better new Disney movies!

My family was very weary about if it was a good movie or not thanks for clearing that up for us

Thumbs up for enchanted. I loved it. My 4 yo DS loved it . My 6 yo DS thought it was really funny. Fun movie.

how is amy adams a newcomer? she has been in alot of things since 1999.

To me (and many others) she is new. I haven't seen many of her other movies. Also, 1999 is relatively new compared to some of the more seasoned actors in Hollywood.

Thanks for the recommendation and not spoiling it for others by giving a full review of the movie.:thumbsup2

DD6 wants to see Enchanted and I wasn't sure if it was suitable for her age group. We get to see it here in Scotland in a couple of weeks - I'll definately be visiting the cinema to see it now.:goodvibes

I haven't had time to see a movie since Ratatouille (which I loved), but I'll definitely be making time for this one. It's gotten a lot of positive reviews on www.rottentomatoes.com as well.

We saw it last night. I really liked it. DH liked it, but not as much as I. There were some places I was wiping away the tears from laughing.
Often the movie trailers show the best parts, and after those I feel like I saw the movie and pass.
The Enchanted trailer shows some good parts, but not all, and not the full effect.
Very good family oriented movie. :thumbsup2
There were multiple theatres within the same complex showing Enchanted. I was expecting a few. But there were more than I expected. We were in one of the larger theatres. And it was not packed, but comfortably near being full.

Very cute movie. I had no expectations as I had not seen a single preview for it. I would recommend it to all age groups.

My 11 year old DD and I saw Enchanted yesterday...and we loved it. We actually laughed out loud at parts. The rest of the theatre had a mixture of children and adults, and everyone seemed to enjoy it as well...I kept looking for the "hidden Mickeys", but I'm not sure if I found any...but we loved it anyway!

:tink:

It has grossed $50 million+ since opening on wednesday, one of the biggest T'-giving openings ever.

Not too shabby.

I liked it. A few too many ruder moments and adult innuendos, but it was very refreshing.

And it was tops at the box office this week. So.. that's good!

What an utterly delightful ride this was! Not enough rude material or adult innuendo though...;)

Great great movie. Amy Adams was wonderful. But what's up with a musical where Idina Menzel doesn't sing??! I heard her duet will be feautured on the DVD though...

DH and I took the granddaughters (8 and 10) to see it Friday. We loved it. In fact, DH and I are thinking about seeing it again.

me and my best friend (both 23) watched this movie TWICE! we both LOVED it!!! awsome movie for anyone who grew up watching disney princesses

  I realised how amazing James Marsden was in this movie. I adore him!( especially in Hairspray)
