Disney's Descendants Sequel coming, In-Park Appearances Next?

I'm posting this because our kids are obsessed with this movie and have been wanting to know if/when they can meet the Descendants Characters in the parks. I just saw today that a sequel film was announced for 2017, and there will be a party in Disneyland this coming weekend for that announcement, and I know that there was some kind of show at the Hollywood Studios for High School Musical a few years ago so I'm assuming in-park stuff for the Descendants can't be too far behind... right?

Maybe or maybe not High School Musical was big and broke the mold of disney tv movies because the 3rd one went to theaters. They might have more stuff like clothes and other things but has for park characters I don't think so because where would they put them and besides does Bell even know she has a son?

Well this Descending this is getting to be pretty popular, I was like the #5 Cable TV movie of all time, the soundtrack debuted at #1 on the Billboard charts, and I was at a Party City store recently and a girl worked there was telling me that 2 mothers got into a fight over the last Descendents Halloween costume, so it's kind of crazy already. Plus there a toys and cartoons of it, Disney is definitely building it up as a brand, and they've already had the stars of the films in doing events in the park, so I think it's just a matter of time before the characters or some event shows up in the parks as well, maybe the next movie or next Halloween or something

I know the Disney Channel stuff isn't always thought of like headline news, but if there is an actual press release from Disney or something, if someone could post it or like to it here that'd be great -thanks again
