Actually as of last November when Disney changed their pool rules the slide and lifeguards are there until 11pm. However the pool closes completely now at that time. They kick everyone out and turn the lights out. No more midnight swims or hot tubbing.

Awesome that the pool is open that late, bummer the hot tub isn't all night. Is it behind a locked gate?

My apologies. Thanks for the correction. I didn't hear about that change. Our last trip was in Dec/Jan and pools were not on our agenda! :thumbsup2

The talk was that all main pools at every resort would be fenced in and locked up at 11pm. There was no gate during our last trip Dec. 2013. Not sure if they have installed one since. You'll be there a few weeks before me so let us know. :thumbsup2

Does the hot tub really help for tired legs? I'm so out of shape and really worried I'll be dying two days into the trip.

It might be all in my head - but I really feel like a soak in the hot tub (or when we were lucky enough the jacuzzi tub!) helped me rebound for the next day. It's a lot of walking!!

See, we do the opposite and use cool water to soothe our aching feet.

A 5 foot alligator? If one was seen on property I am sure the Disney would take the necessary action to relocate it to a more favorable location.

Beautiful pic at dusk last night

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone knew which location would be better / closer for the restaurants & main pool - preferred or business class? Thanks :)

Does the hot tub have jets? it doesn't look too "bubbly"

Yes, the hot tub has jets. They are actually quite powerful.

No gate in April either. We walked right in around 12:30am to play some ping pong. A security guy on a cart cruised through but never said a word to us.

Probably didn't say anything because you weren't using the pool.
