What's FL law for kids in car seats in cabs??

ETA : basically they are exempt from the regular laws...? Is this correct?

Going to CSR tomorrow!!
Packing and getting excited!
We have late (9:50pm) reservation for Ohana. Trying to decide If we should just drive to Poly or take bus system to MK first, monorail to poly and then the travel system back...seems like a lot of changing from bus to monorail. Esp it we have our car..

Also gonna be arriving early at CSR Anyone know how CSR has been with early room readiness lately? Last time it was ready at 11 am. So hopefully the same this time but if not, to the pool we go!

Deciding on possible upgrading to Business class when we get there, just so excited had to share my nervous excitement!!

Lucky you!! I can't believe we still have 4 months of waiting. Ugh. Have a great time! pixiedust:

Need some help! We're booked at CSR in November, and I've since read a TON of bad reviews about this resort on Trip Advisor. Many of the complaints have to do with dirty rooms. Some complaints are silly in that the vacationer could have just gone to reception to get more towels, etc. Some complaints have to do with Magic Bands. My HUGE concern is about the cleanliness of the rooms. (We're only staying at this resort because it's only one of two moderate resorts on the free dining promotion. We've stayed at PO Riverside, cabins at Ft. Wilderness, and off property in the past.) Any comforting words? Opinions?

Our "plan" was a return trip to POR this year but free dining put a kink in that, lol. I was disappointed at first but now I'm excited to try a new resort. CSR looks beautiful, especially the night time pictures I've seen, and I will be at Disney World on my birthday - doesn't get much better than that!

We were hoping for POR as well but will be at CSR, too. Looking forward to our trip. Hope yours will be wonderful!

The grounds are really nice during the day, but yes when the resort is all lit up at night it is beautiful!

I tend to take tripadvisor with a grain of salt. I find most reviews there to be either glowing or overly critical.

I have stayed at CSR nearly 20 times. I've had rooms in all different categories (standard, water, junior suite, VIP suite, executive suite) and in all different sections. I have never had an issue with cleanliness. DMom is a very picky person about the cleanliness of a hotel room and she loves Coronado. The only issue we have ever had with housekeeping is that they sometimes come later in the day when we are wanting to nap. But we eliminate that risk by calling and asking for housekeeping before 1pm each morning as we leave.

All resorts are having minor issues with MagicBands as the full scale launch only occurred a month or two ago. You have to expect there will be glitches with new technology.

We will be returning to Coronado Springs this fall for Halloween. We are doing the MNSSHP on 10/30 and I was wondering if anyone knows what the resort will do on 10/31. I know POFQ has a DJ and trick or treating etc. I was wondering if Coronado has the same.

Thanks!

Really thinking of trying out CSR on our July trip (as a split stay with WL).

Booking Standard View and requesting either Casitas 4 or Cabanas 8A. Other requests that would be beneficial? We will have a stroller, so would 1st floor be better or are the elevators pretty quick?

Do they have rollaway beds and if so, where is a good place to put it? Do they by chance have step stools you could request? (Somebody mentioned this on another thread. Would be perfect for the kids at the sink!)

Hey Krystal!

I have stayed in Casistas 4 and 5 and Ranchos 7a and b and business class in Cabanas 9.

I highly recommend you ask for 1st floor. We usually do upper floors and the elevators are usually behind the direction you want to go in so a lot of back tracking was needed. We usually just did the stairs.

I like 7/8/9 areas better because we love the DIG Site. It was a hike from 4 to get there. 4 was closer to food but 1) there is lunch available at the DS 2) I would get off bus at lobby, buy food then carry to room so walk only 1/2 3) we eat dinners usually in park

Theming I love them all.:goodvibes

Not sure about beds/stools but I have read people use ironing board next to bed for a TV tray for kids. I did this, I just put a hand towel on it to protect the board. :thumbsup2

There would be room for a bed (if have) in front of the windows. There are leather stools there that you could move.

If you haven't checked yet go to page one and see about the business class. Dd and I loved it. Only breakfast and apps 5-10 but very convenient and the building location was awesome. Also price was not that much more.

We have stayed at csr 1x and had no problems with the room cleanliness. It's not my favorite resort at all (LOVE pors but needed free dinning to make a trip this year work) but the rooms were fine. It was neat and clean and the resort is beautiful.

Is there decent coffee to be found at CSR? Or still only the Nescafe stuff?
As stated previously all coffee has been changed, definitely an upgrade in comparison to the Nescafé. CSR also now has French vanilla creamer as well as the plain, which was a wonderful thing for DH and I!

You are such a wealth of information!! :-) Business class isn't available at all for those dates. I don't think even rack is open! Otherwise, I'd book just for the sangria I've heard so much about! ;-)

Never thought I'd consider CSR, but I've been hearing such good things about the buses, etc. and the lake is really pretty. :-) loved Beach Club because of the lake!

How crazy is breakfast at Pepper Market?

I don't eat breakfast but for the most part no better or worse than anywhere else. They also have a cute little to go section called Cafe Rix with cereal, breakfast sandwiches bagels and drinks that is easy.
Here is menu from allears.

I really like these info videos from allears.

We are so excited to be staying at CSR in Sept for our first disney trip. We were planning on POR but switched for free dining. I think I may be even more excited than I was before the switch. This may be an odd question, but does anyone at this resort decorate their windows? We have already made some decor because we were going to do it at POR. Does anyone have the measurements for the windows? In the pics they look to be about the same as Riverside....TIA

What section are u staying in cabanas or ranchos? Can u post some room pics i am curious?

I am in cabanas 8a, I can post pics when I get back home. We are next to the dig site and bus stop 4.

That's the building I was thinking about requesting! Looks like a great spot!

Can someone please tell me exactly what is included with Business Class? My choices for an 8 night reservation with Free Dining in November are Standard or Standard Business Class. BC is $450 more than Standard over 8 nights. I'm trying to decide if it's worth it. Thanks.
