Hello all, I am super excited to have booked our first stay at CSR for our April family trip. I think the kids will love it. I booked a business room. Is there a post or separate thread that details the offerings of the business room? I looked in the first few posts but didn't see a post specificially covering this. Thanks in advance. :thumbsup2

I'm curious about this too. I read a few days ago on this thread that the offerings may have changed.

Can anyone that has been there recently tell me what type/brand coffee makers are in the rooms? We have a Keurig at home, but can purchase coffee ahead of time from GG for whatever brand/type is in the room. We are staying in a water view room (wherever those are!) if that helps. This will be our first time staying on property, and we are SOOOOO excited! Thanks!!

It's a Cuisinart pod style machine. It will not take K-cups.

I am here in the Ranchos section now. I had requested Cabanas, but I think with staying nine nights and needing connecting rooms it was just hard to get. We are very near transportation and near the pool. El Centro is quite a stroll, but we spend most of our time and meals in the parks. There is a mug refill area at the pool, so that is nice. Interestingly, though I know the resort to be very full, it sure does not feel that way! All that to say, I think Ranchos 6a is just great! Would not be so concerned if someone gets placed here. (BTW--have to love September--have walked on Soarin' and had five minute waits for Mine Train!!)

We also didn't feel that the resort was full, even though when we were first given our Casitas room we asked if there was anything available in Cabanas & they said no. The size definitely helps you NOT feel like you're amongst a crowd.
I think a lot of people not staying BC request Cabanas so of course that raises the number of people who DON'T get their Cabanas request.......over on the August 2014 thread there were a couple people who had requested Cabanas and didn't get it, either. I'm glad you're happy with your location!:)

I was able to get my request for the cabanas in July but I have also stayed in the casitas n ranchos. All the rooms looked the same to me. I was disappointed with the pepper market with the changes they made. Looking to stay at Caribbean beach next year

Got travel docs last week and magicbands by this Friday !!! Cannot wait till the day we leave !!! :cool1:

I never thought of this before, but since the coffee pods they provide (at CBR & PO-R, anyway) taste AWFUL, does anyone know if it's possible to bring along better coffee, in the same pod form? This will be our first CSR stay, but I assume it's the same coffee pods as other [at least moderate] resorts.

I have not tried to find the pods, but I take Starbucks via packets, and just run the water alone though the coffee machine. I am a VERY picky coffee drinker, I used to work at Starbucks, and I swear I can not tell that via is instant. It is real good if you haven't tried them, and much better than the coffee in the room, or in the food courts.

i have searched the forum and this thread and don't see much info on it which is surprising considering how DISers like to hash things over (and over), lol.

Wasn't planning to do online check-in, but I just did it now and requested Cabanas.. Hopefully that's what we get. Casitas wasn't an option. We leave Saturday!!!! :cool1:

This resort has bar none, no argument the absolute worst bus system out of any of the resorts. It's laughable.

Actually, CSR is widely considered to have the best bus service of any of the WDW resorts.

We have 36 nights at CSR under our belts and have had nothing but exceptional bus service. Pretty much every thread on DIS regarding CSR has people raving about the excellent bus service.

The bus stop locations at the theme parks are some of the best. Mostly located somewhere in the middle, not one extreme end or the other. It was rare that we had standing room only on the buses. My family was there in August. Please explain yourself. It takes a bit to understand the route, stop 2,3,4 then 1.

POR won that one in my book, the worst I have ever seen. From everything I have read, everyone says CSR has one of the best

I agree... POR had horrible bus service at times when I was there. I guess it's hit or miss no matter where you stay. Pop & AOA had the best bus service I've ever experienced so far.
